The Russian language, with its origins going back to the languages of the Slavic group, has absorbed many words that have Greek and Latin roots. By its phonetic power, it is one of the most perfect languages in the world. It is a language that has been developing for more than one millennium, which has given the world the greatest writers and poets, whose works have entered the golden fund of world literature.

The Russian language is constantly developing simultaneously with the development of science and technology. It is replenished with modern terms and new words that organically fit into it. This is a natural process and does not contradict the norms of the development of any language. But recently, there has been an unfavorable trend towards its simplification, which looks quite frightening against the background of increased illiteracy.

Good, literate Russian speech is becoming increasingly rare. If before the purity of speech was followed and taught even by journalists, television and radio broadcasters, then today's media are not at all different. Neither the stars of the screen, nor the stage, nor politicians today can boast of a competent and coherent speech.

To preserve the language you speak from birth, we advise you to read more. Refer to the classics. The person who adapted and modernized the Old Russian speech was A. S. Pushkin, whose literary works are still modern and relevant. They are written in a wonderful, “tasty” language, in which both the author himself and the heroes of his works speaks with his readers.

If you feel like a Russian person, study folk art - fairy tales, legends. A real storehouse of folk wisdom and linguistic treasures are proverbs and sayings. Feel the play on words and appreciate it, see what laconic means, with the help of just a few words, the proverb conveys a deep meaning, which can only be retelled in a few sentences.

Russian folk songs are wonderful, in which you can find traces of real historical events and some words typical for residents of various regions of great Russia. Even using them, you can learn your native language, this is a kind of opportunity to "preserve" it and use it as needed, for study and pleasure.
