On November 24, 1995, Federal Law No. 181-FZ "On social protection of disabled people in the Russian Federation" was adopted, which determined the state policy in the field of social protection of disabled people in the Russian Federation. Within the framework of this law and ensuring equal opportunities for persons with disabilities in the exercise of their rights and freedoms, the government obliged the city administrations to create a so-called "social" taxi.
Instructions
Step 1
To order a social taxi, call the city's dispatch service no later than a day before the intended trip. Usually, preliminary applications are accepted 5-7 days before departure.
Step 2
Tell the dispatcher the exact date, time and destination of your trip. Provide your contact phone number, address and discuss the presence of accompanying persons.
Step 3
Be prepared to provide information confirming your eligibility for the Social Taxi benefit. You may be asked for your disability ID number, information about the degree of restriction in movement, etc. You will also be advised of the cost of the trip.
Step 4
Recently, it has become possible to order a social taxi via the Internet by leaving a request on the website. This must be done in advance. Experienced disabled people are advised to duplicate the application by phone.
Step 5
On the appointed day, the dispatcher will contact you and tell you the exact time of arrival of the special minibus, the route. Since the social taxi carries out several orders at a time, changing the destination is not allowed. You must present your ID when boarding a taxi.
