The biometric passport appeared in Russia just a few years ago and is gaining more and more popularity. This is not surprising, since it is largely different from its predecessor. A special chip is built into the new generation passport, which contains a photo of the owner, last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth, passport number, date of issue and expiration date. This passport is reliable and also speeds up the border control process.
Instructions
Step 1
As for the registration of a biometric document, it almost does not differ from obtaining a regular old-style passport. You also fill out a questionnaire and an application. But at the same time, it is important to do everything according to the rules, since incorrect filling out of the questionnaire may become a reason for refusing to issue it.
The biometrics questionnaire is filled out in the usual 14 font and always in capital letters.
Step 2
First, indicate your last name, first name, patronymic. If you changed your name, write down the place and date of the change of your name. And if you didn’t change it, then write “I didn’t change your full name”.
Step 3
Enter your date of birth. Please note that the month is indicated in words "July 16, 1976".
Step 4
At this point, indicate your gender: "female" or "male".
Step 5
Provide all details of the place of birth.
Step 6
We enter the data at the place of registration: zip code, city, street, house, apartment number, telephone with a city code.
Step 7
We write information about your citizenship.
Step 8
We enter all the data of the civil passport

Next, we indicate the purpose of obtaining a passport - "For temporary trips abroad"

Enter the required item here: "PRIMARY" "REPLACE USED"
Step 11
Most of them write "I was not" here, but if there was an admission, then indicate the organization, time and form of admission. In the same paragraph, when asked about contractual and contractual obligations, you enter: “I don’t have”, “I have”.
Step 12
Both men and women in this paragraph indicate "Not called (a)" (additionally, men aged 18 to 27 years provide a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office or a military ID with a mark on the passage of service).
Step 13
If you have no criminal record, indicate "Not convicted (a)." Otherwise, an additional certificate of clearing a criminal record is required.
Step 14
If you do not evade legal obligations, then you write “I do not evade”.
Step 15
Here we indicate information about the place of work and study for the last 10 years. Please note that if your break in studies or work is more than a month, then you must write "Temporarily did not work (s)".
Step 16
If a foreign passport has already been issued before, then indicate its data, if not, leave the item unchanged.
Step 17
Indicate the date and sign.
Step 18
The application form must be printed in 2 copies and certified at the place of work or study.
