early years

Zoe's biography began in 1953 in Tula. She spent her childhood in this city, where she also got her first experience of working in a local newspaper and on the radio. With a certificate of secondary education, at the age of 17, the girl went to conquer the capital. Luck smiled at her - she became a student at the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University. Zoya learned the basics of journalism, and she secretly dreamed of creating scripts. Fellow students took her for a madman, only one person understood Zoya - future husband and colleague Alexander Dzyublo.

The beginning of the way

On assignment, Zoya went to Ashgabat. Her journalistic career began in the newspaper Komsomolets Turkmenistan. She wrote notes about local shepherds, but the dream of becoming a screenwriter did not leave the girl. After returning to the capital, it turned out that there were no places in any newspaper, so I had to get a job at the press center of the Ministry of Instrumentation and Robotics.

At one point, Zoya quit her job and sat down to create her first work called "Homo novus". The story told about the life of a school mathematics teacher, who, due to her difficult nature, does not find a common language with her students, brings up her son alone and experiences the unsettled personal life. Alexander took the risk of showing the housewife's script to his friend, screenwriter Valera Zolotukha. He not only approved the work, but also advised Zoya to participate in the competition. A month later, a telegram arrived that she won the competition, and the script for "Homo novus" was taken into production. In 1990, a film of the same name was released with Irina Kupchenko and Georgy Taratorkin in the lead roles. The film received 12 awards from the international film community at different times.

After that, Zoya firmly decided to enter the Higher scriptwriting courses, but failed the exams. She attended classes as a free listener and was eventually accepted as a student.

Creation

The first success inspired the debutante to create new works. In the 90s, the era of serials began on television. It took a lot of work, and the fees were scanty - $ 100 per script. Together with her colleagues, Kudrya worked on the projects Goryachev and Others (1994) and Strawberry (1997). Yuri Belenky became the director of the first Russian soap operas. In the center of the first picture was the hero of Igor Bochkin, captivating with his honesty and sense of humor. The action of the second picture took place in the cafe "Strawberry", the owners of which are the Koshkin family, who find themselves in various funny situations.

At one of the festivals, fate brought Zoya to Inna Churikova, who offered her to edit the already finished script of the film "Year of the Dog" (1994). After its release, the film received a number of international awards, one of which was the prize of the Berlin Film Festival.

The audience's recognition and the TEFI prize was given to the multi-part film “Border. Taiga Romance”(2000), written by Zoya Kudrya. The events of the film took place on the Far Eastern border in the mid-70s. The series told the life stories of 3 families, and the main intrigue was the love triangle of the heroes.

The scriptwriter calls one of his favorite works the series "Cadets" (2005). The plot was created according to the memoirs of Peter Todorovsky and told about the events in the rear artillery school during the war. The author recalled how with fear she began work on the script, how difficult it was to write about 17-year-old boys who were about to die. An incredibly touching and honest picture of the war came out, although the war itself is not there. The series received the approval of not only Russian, but also foreign viewers, as well as the prestigious American Emmy award.

The multi-part film "Liquidation" (2007) brought great success to the author. Sergei Ursulyak's detective series tells about the struggle of the Soviet police against crime in post-war Odessa. The main character is Lieutenant Colonel UGRO David Gotsman performed by Vladimir Mashkov, an implacable fighter against the enemies of Soviet power.

In subsequent years, several more striking paintings were released, created according to the scripts of Zoya Anatalyevna: "Admiral" (2008), "Pelagia and the White Bulldog" (2009), "Sherlock Holmes" (2013), "Shuttle Ladies" (2016). Creating images of the main characters, the author tried to present them, how to get into someone else's skin. The stories about police major Ivan Cherkasov and the activities of his investigative group, described by the author in the scripts for the multi-part films "Mosgaz", "Executioner" and "Jackal", turned out to be fascinating.

In addition to works for cinema, Kudrya collaborated with the NTV channel, wrote scripts for the satirical program "Dolls". In 2006, Zoya Anatolyevna became the artistic director of the Amedia company, the largest domestic producer of serials and television programs. More than 250 hours of content from various genres are broadcast annually: dramas, thrillers, comedies and sitcoms.
