The national team of Belarus has lost all chances of reaching the playoff stage of the 2016 World Youth Hockey Championship. The Czechs, on the other hand, needed a victory in order to take a higher place in Group B.

The game began with the advantage of the Czech national team, but this team made the first shot on target only after 10 minutes. Belarusian hockey players also did not distinguish themselves with a lot of shots on the Czechs' goal, however, chances for goals still occurred at the Czech goal. The first goal of the match was scored in the 16th minute by the Czechs, which did not follow from the course of the meeting. Shimon Stranski realized a two-to-one exit. At the end of the period, the Czechs pressed the national team of Belarus to the goal, but the score on the scoreboard did not change before the break.

Not even a minute had passed in the second period when the defender of the Belarusian national team Stepan Falkovsky realized his rendezvous with the goalkeeper. The scoreboard lit up a draw result 1: 1. After that, the teams began to play open hockey, quickly passing the middle zone. In the 31st minute, Belarus scored again. Yegor Shangovich realized the majority. The Czechs responded quickly. Dominic Lakatos, a couple of minutes later, substituted a club for a throw from the blue line and the score became equal again (2: 2). However, the team of Belarus still took a break, leading the score. Once again, the numerical advantage was realized. In the 38th minute, Vladislav Goncharov made the Czech goalkeeper surrender with the strongest throw from the blue line.

In the final twenty minutes, the Czech national team significantly increased in activity in front of the opponent's goal, which bore fruit. In the 53rd minute, Jiri Smeikal, and a couple of minutes later Radik Vesely secured the Czech advantage, scoring on the puck. The scoreboard displayed numbers 4: 3, indicating the advantage of young Czech hockey players.

The national team of Belarus at the end of the meeting withdrew the goalkeeper, but this led only to the fifth goal of the Czech national team. Dominik Mashin distinguished himself, who established the final result of the meeting - 5: 3 in favor of the Czech team.
