The work of Angam Atnabaev is well known not only in his native Bashkortostan. His dramatic and satirical plays are successfully performed on theatrical stages of Tatarstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. The people's poet of the republic, the author of dozens of poetry collections, left to his readers kind, heartfelt poems about the spirituality of nature and human existence. Biography
The winter of 1928 in Bashkortostan was cold, snowy and windy. On one of these frosty days, on February 23, the famous Bashkir poet Angam Atanbaev was born. The village of Old Kurdym, the poet's small homeland, is located in the Birsk canton of the Bashkir Autonomous Republic. Currently, this place is known as the Tatyshlinsky district.
The Atanbaev family consisted of parents and seven babies, the firstborn of whom was Angam. The fate of the family was hard. When the Great Patriotic War began, my father went to the front, fought on the outskirts of Leningrad, where he laid down his head in a bloody battle. Angam thus became the eldest man in the family, although he himself was still a young child. To help his mother raise her younger children, Angam began working.
Study and work
While still in the seventh grade of a comprehensive school, he took up physical education lessons. The guy was very hardworking and as an additional load he decided to be also a pioneer leader in the lower grades. Both schoolchildren and teachers of the Aksaitovskaya school, where Angam lived, were pleased with the teenager's energetic and inventive ideas for conducting lessons. He succeeded in themed evenings, contests and events for which Angam wrote scripts. The young man especially liked to spend poetry evenings. Senior teachers predicted the glory of Hadi Taktash for the talented young teacher.
Having successfully completed his education in secondary school, Angam Atnabaev went to the capital of Tatarstan, the city of Kazan. He becomes a student at the Kazan Pedagogical Institute. They also saw Angam's talents in Kazan, they were invited to stay to work, but the guy chose to return to Bashkortostan, dear to his heart.
Editor career
Since 1951 he became a resident of Ufa. Atnabaev's place of work is the editorial office of the republican newspaper "Kyzyl tan". He begins his career as a small literary collaborator. Over time, he was transferred to the head of the department. Simultaneously with his work in the editorial office of "Kyzyl tan" Angam Atanbaev works in the editorial office of the Bashkir satire magazine "Khenek".
His works were marked by a remarkable event - the poet received membership in the Writers' Union in 1954. Over the years of work in the editorial office of the newspaper, Angam wrote many poetic works, which he combines in the collection "A Conversation with the Heart". The book of poems was published in 1958. The release of the book was given to the poet very easily and new publications and editions followed.
Poetic contribution
The main theme of Angam Atnabaev's poetry is the inner world of an ordinary person, immersion in the study of spirituality. It was interesting for him to write about the indissoluble unity of the personality and the era in which it has to manifest itself. In his poetry, Angam reflected the wonderful moments of his personal life, love for his dear wife Savia. Following the poems in the work of Angam, theatrical plays appear, the plots of which the young author took from the life of the inhabitants of Bashkiria. He traveled a lot around the republic, communicated with different people and aptly noticed the peculiarities and way of life of villagers and city dwellers. In the plays, Atnabaev revealed the folk wisdom and humor of the Bashkir people. He was equally successful in satire and drama.
Angam Kasimovich Atnabaev died in 1999. In memory of the great compatriot, a memorial monument was created at the Ufa Muslim cemetery, to which fans of Angam Atnabaev's work often come to bring flowers and remember a wonderful person.
