Olga Markova showed a literary gift from an early age. As a girl, she created scripts for the school drama club. Then Olga Ivanovna worked as a literature teacher, bibliographer and even an editor for youth broadcasting.

Olya was born on July 17, 1908 in the village of Novaya Utka in the Urals. Her father was a craftsman. The mother was able to instill in the girl a feeling of compassion, philanthropy, which greatly helped the girl in the future. The parent told her daughter about the tramps, who invariably aroused pity not only in the woman, but also in the girl.

Realizing this, the mother sometimes pressed lightly on these levers. When young Olga was mowing, she was hot, did not want to work. But my mother said that maybe just now the tramp is sitting in the bushes and admiring what kind of hard-working daughter Tatyana has. That was the name of the girl's mother.

Olga's parents sang beautifully. Over time, the girl joined them. The friendly family sang very harmoniously.

When Olga Ivanovna graduated from the seven-year school, she went to work at a sawmill. To join the ranks of the Komsomol, she added years to herself.

When Gorky's "Old Woman Izergil" was staged in the drama club of their village, our heroine wrote a performance on this topic. She was only 13 years old.

To develop her gift, in 1926 Markova entered the workers' faculty, the literary department, then at the Plekhanov Ministry of National Economy. While receiving higher education, the writer studied in the same group with the future famous poets.

But the improvement of the girl did not end there. She also entered Moscow State University and successfully graduated from it.

Returning to her homeland, Olga Ivanovna worked as a literature teacher at school, in the radio committee of the city of Sverdlovsk, as a bibliographer in a publishing house, and as a methodologist.

The famous writer Gorbatov first got acquainted with her first story. He was sincere and told the girl that the work was not very good. But he supported her, advising her to improve her creativity and continue to write.

And everything worked out. When, after some time, Olga Ivanovna brought her story "Varvara Potekhina" to Boris Gorbatov, he sent this work to the magazine "Shturm", where it was published.

But the following literary experiments were not very successful. The story "Beehive", "Carousel", did not like the workers of the publication. But the young woman did not give up, after the war she wrote two stories, which were published. Her book, which is called "In a certain kingdom", was recognized as the best work of Markova.

Inspired by such success, Olga Ivanovna continued to write. She created a story about village life, which is called "High Water", wrote a short story "A Cloud over the Steppe". Then the writer created the work "Hops", which was dedicated to agricultural workers.

The last work of Olga Ivanovna was the book "Forever with you", which was written in 1972. And four years later, the writer was gone. Celebrating her services in social and literary activities, Olga Ivanovna Markova was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
