Sami Naseri is a famous French actor. During his long career, he starred in a huge number of films, but gained world fame only in 1997, thanks to his role in the film "Taxi".
Biography
In July 1961, the future actor Said Naseri was born in Paris in a family of an Algerian native. In the family, the boy was called Sami (diminutive for Said), and he took this name as a creative pseudonym in the future. The talented actor's family was very large, he had six brothers and sisters. Sami is not the only successful actor in his large clan: his brother is also famous in France.
When Sami was still young, the family moved to the small town of Fontenay-sous-Bois, where the boy went to school. The study was hard, in addition, the future actor had a very nasty character. At the age of sixteen, he dropped out of school and started doing small part-time jobs, sometimes bordering on breaking the law. At the age of 18, he became addicted to drugs and began to engage in petty theft and robbery. One of the raids on the store led Naseri to be detained and arrested. He was sentenced to five years in prison, but four years later he was released early.
Career
Naseri got into the film industry by accident. He was invited in 1980 to play in the extras of the film "Inspector Razinya". After a thrilling filming experience, Sami was determined to become a professional actor. Nevertheless, he was in no hurry to get the necessary education, and practically until the mid-90s, except for extras and short episodes, he did not receive roles. The actor played his first serious role only in 1994, he was invited to the dramatic film "Brothers: Red Roulette", where he embodied a character close to him - a difficult teenager. According to the actor himself, the role was given to him very easily, since he practically played himself.
Before his most successful work in cinema, he managed to star in seven films, where he played roles of different kinds. In 1997 he was invited to the casting for the film "Taxi", the screening was completed successfully, and after the release of the film, Sami Naseri gained worldwide fame. Later, three more sequel films were shot, the last of which with the actor in the lead role was released in 2007.
In total, Sami Naseri's filmography includes more than 35 films, the last work in cinema took place in 2017. The actor took part in the filming of the film "Superalibi".
Personal life
Sami Naseri is not married. He had several whirlwind romances, but for a long time he never tied himself in a relationship. From 2005 to 2008 he was married to French actress Marie Guillard. Naseri also has a son named Julian. The boy starred with his father in one of the films "Taxi".
Due to his consistently scandalous nature, the actor has constant problems with the law. He regularly makes it to the news feeds with another outrageous trick. In 2018, an unpleasant incident happened to him in Moscow - he and his brother were beaten in one of the bars by unknown persons.
