early years
Olga Vladimirovna was born on August 29, 1958. The family lived in Moscow and was quite well off. However, the father died when Olya was 2 years old.
A stepfather appeared in the family - a despotic man. Then Olya had a half-sister Tatyana, her mother had to work hard. She worked at a chemical plant, her stepfather was a watchman.
From an early age, Olga was interested in music. She studied at a music school, where she mastered the piano, performed at school events. After graduating from school, Zarubina did not plan to be an artist, she studied at a medical school and received the profession of a nurse.
Creative career
During her studies, Olga was a member of the student ensemble. The team took part in competitions, performed at events. The vocalist was noticed by Alexander Zaborsky, a performer of Russian chanson. He took the girl to his group "Postal Stagecoach".
In 1977, Zarubina met Vyacheslav Dobrynin, a composer. He recommended the singer to the ensemble "Leisya, Pesnya" (director Shufutinsky Mikhail), where Olga became a backing vocalist.

Personal life
Olga Vladimirovna's first husband is Alexander Malinin, a singer. He was married, but left his family for Zarubina. They got married in 1983, in 1985, their daughter Kira appeared. In the same year, Alexander left the family.
For the second time, Zarubina married Vladimir Evdokimov. He was the art director of the singer, became a good father for Kira. In 2008, he died of cancer, and Olga returned to Russia.
In 2010, Andrei Salov, a former member of the Laskoviy May group, became the singer's husband. Olga is 13 years older than him. Zarubina's daughter, Kira, lives in the USA.
