On vacation, I want to distract myself from these activities. But one day a situation arises when you understand: it's time to pick up a book!

Start with light books. For some reason, you decided to start reading, because just a few years ago you swallowed several thick volumes in a week, and now you can't even master a magazine. You can download almost any edition on the Internet or ask friends or colleagues. Do not bypass second-hand bookstores, where you can buy a coveted collection of stories or an exciting detective story for a penny.
Step 2
Be guided by lists of literary awards and reader reviews. There are lists of the best books for any year on the internet. You can focus on the laureates of literary awards and sales leaders. If you are interested in a specific topic or genre, you can visit the annual book fair. You won't get out of there without a book.
Step 3
Sign up to the library, visit literary cafes, and discuss books on the forums. All conditions have been created in Russia for a reading and thinking audience: lecture halls and cafes, libraries, which every year renew their funds and go digital. On the numerous forums dedicated to literature and reading preferences, you can glean a lot of information about novelties in the literary world, bright debuts and complete failures of recognized masters of the word.
Step 4
Start a diary in paper or electronic form precisely in order to write down impressions of what you read, leave notes, praise and scold. Even a social network is suitable for this. Write out your favorite quotes. Soon you will be "overgrown" with friends and like-minded people. Thus, it is quite possible to join the literary community. Or just start reading books again.
