Step 1
First of all, try to make sure that your work can be read by as many people as possible. To do this, publish it on the Internet on one or several sites dedicated to literature (for example, www.proza.ru). In addition, online and offline journals and almanacs that print young authors can be consulted. They may agree to publish you. This will increase the chances of a publisher or sponsor "accidentally" finding you.
Step 2
If you are ready for more action, try to join the literary community. Come to local festivals, book presentations, open readings. You will make many acquaintances, some of which may turn out to be not only pleasant, but also useful.
Step 3
Find the contact information for publishers. You can find them on the official website or go to a book fair. Having received a phone number, e-mail or the opportunity to communicate with an employee in person, find out what are the conditions of publication in the publishing house. Compare the products of each of the companies found. You should first of all contact the one that publishes books like yours.
Step 4
If you are confident in the talent and competitiveness of your book, try publishing it for free. Send your manuscript by email or post and await a verdict. If the publisher's opinion coincides with yours, the book will be released free of charge for you. Otherwise, you can pay for the preparation and publication of the circulation. All the terms of such a deal are negotiated in advance and fixed in the contract.
Step 5
For writers and poets who want multiple copies of a book to distribute to friends, samizdat is a good option. Make up the book yourself, print it on a printer. You can make the binding with your own hands or contact the printing house for help. Such a batch of books can only be donated; it will not be possible to get income from sales.
