Instructions
Step 1
In order for your documents for the production of a foreign passport to be accepted by the FMS (department of the federal migration service), you need to correctly and legibly fill out an application. It can be printed from the official website of the FMS or taken from the district office.
Step 2
If you have a computer, it is better to fill out the questionnaire electronically so that mistakes can be corrected. Ask your relatives who are familiar with this office equipment to help you.
Step 3
To fill out the questionnaire, you will most likely need a work book, since you will have to indicate in the application data on places of work for the last ten years.
Step 4
If you are long-term retired and your ten-year deadline has expired, you do not need to fill out anything. Just enter your well-deserved retirement date.
Step 5
Before going to the FMS, you will need to take a photo. The photo may be different, depending on what kind of passport you are going to issue - an old model or a biometric one. The photographer knows all the necessary parameters of the images, so just tell him which document you will receive.

You need to bring to the department for registration of foreign passports of the FMS:

After registering on the site, you will receive a letter with a password at your home address, which you will need to enter to activate your profile. Then you fill out an application for a foreign passport on the portal. After a while you will be invited to the FMS with the original documents. Three to four days after the visit, a new passport will be issued.
