Igor Azarov is a Russian composer and singer. The peak of his creative career came in the early 90s, when he began to actively collaborate with Lyubov Uspenskaya. Azarov wrote music for her hits "Carousel", "To the only tender" and "I am lost."
Biography: early years
Igor Alexandrovich Azarov was born on January 21, 1961 in Pavlovsk, near Voronezh. His real name is Eskov. Alexander considered her dissonant for a creative person, so he took a pseudonym.
As a child, Azarov attended a music club. The teacher immediately noticed his outstanding vocal abilities. And Alexander began to work on the technique of singing. His first listeners were friends and neighbors.
After school, Azarov moved to St. Petersburg, where he entered the vocal department of the school at the conservatory. Rimsky-Korsakov. Azarov liked to work in a team, but still he dreamed of solo performances. Alexander understood that this requires "strong" songs. He decided to try his hand at writing music. This is how the song "Through the Puddles" appeared, which quickly became a hit.
Soon Azarov moved to Moscow, where he met Mikhail Tanich. In co-authorship with him, he wrote such famous songs as "I love you", "Nice guy", "The bridge is swinging." The last composition was especially fond of Soviet listeners. In 1989 with this song Azarov became a laureate of the "Song of the Year" festival. Later Olga Zarubina included the hit "The Bridge Sways" in her repertoire.
Azarov wrote music for songs of such Russian pop stars as Edita Piekha, Mikhail Boyarsky, Tatyana Bulanova, Philip Kirkorov, Alexander Marshal. Lyubov Uspenskaya stands apart among them. Azarov wrote music for a number of her hits. It was co-authored by the poetess Regina Lisits.
