Political activity requires a person to have fundamental theoretical training and knowledge of the real processes taking place in society. Mykola Azarov took a high government position on the wave of reforms and transformations that took place in Ukraine.

Procedures of this kind are handled not only by professional geologists, but also by specialists in other sectors of the national economy. Nikolai Yanovich Azarov did not initially imagine that at the peak of his creative potential he would have to deal with political problems. The future prime minister and leader of the Ukrainian "Party of Regions" was born on December 17, 1947 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in the famous city of Kaluga. My father worked as a mining engineer. Mother worked on the railroad.
The boy grew up and developed in a healthy environment. He was loved and cared for. At the same time, they did not spoil and instill labor skills. Kolya spent his summer holidays with his grandmother in the village courtyard. He helped take care of the garden and loved to swim in the local pond. Azarov studied very well at school. Political activity
Having received a degree in mining engineering, Azarov worked for several years at the Tulaugol plant. The young specialist proved himself to be a skillful leader and a competent engineer. Five years later, he defended his Ph. D. thesis on improving technology for the development of coal seams. In 1984 Nikolay Yanovich moved to Donbass as director of the Research Institute of Mining Geology. Gives lectures. He is engaged in scientific research and is working on a doctoral dissertation. When “perestroika” gained momentum in the country, Azarov took an active part in public events.
It is important to emphasize that there was a lack of trained personnel to carry out reforms in the country. For several years Azarov held various positions in the state apparatus and various political structures. Nikolai Yanovich made his contribution to the formation of the economy and public institutions. In the spring of 2010, he was approved as the country's prime minister. At that moment, elite groups were arguing about which path of development to choose. Some believed that it was necessary to focus on Russia, while others advocated joining the European Union.
Retirement and personal life
Azarov's political career ended with his resignation from the post of prime minister in January 2014. Together with his family, he had to leave the country, so as not to fall under the reprisals of the representatives of the new government.
