The creative pseudonym of Konstantin Burdaev is Kostya Grim. Under this name, the musician is known and loved by fans of his musical creativity. Having started performing in alliance with his brother Boris, Konstantin eventually moved on to solo performances. After a while, the Brothers Grim collective was recreated, but, alas, not in the same composition.
Konstantin Veniaminovich Burdaev: facts from the biography
The future famous Russian musician was born in Kuibyshev (now Samara) on June 6, 1981, together with his twin brother Boris. Kostya is a few minutes younger than his brother. There were no musicians in the family: the boys' parents were pharmacists. But the guys from childhood showed remarkable musical abilities, which predetermined their further creative path. From an early age, the brothers admired the Liverpool Four.
The Burdaev brothers are very similar in appearance, but in character they are very different from one another. Constantine was always distinguished by a calm disposition. But Boris was fidgety and often hooligan. They were united only by their love for music in all its manifestations. At the age of eight, Borya and Kostya were already learning to play the guitar and piano.
The creative path of the Brothers Grim
In 1998, the Burdaev brothers founded their first musical project, called Magellan, and later renamed the Brothers Grim. At the same time, Kostya played in another team, bit by bit gaining experience.
In 2004, Konstantin moved to the capital of Russia. Now he is a bass player and vocalist in the Brothers Grim band. Gradually, the group gained popularity. Compositions "Kusturica" and "Eyelashes" for a long time settled on the top lines of domestic charts.
The group, which was gaining popularity, performed throughout the country and the CIS, more than once traveled outside Russia - to Israel, Great Britain, Germany, and the United States.
The winding road to success
In 2007, "The Brothers Grimm" seemed to have gained complete independence, getting rid of the guardianship of the producer. However, in the spring of 2009, seemingly irreparable disagreements arose between the two brothers, about the essence of which there were conflicting rumors. The Brothers Grim announced the breakup of the band. This statement was initiated by Kostya. And Boris, in his words, learned that the team no longer exists from the news on the network.
When the group ceased to exist, Konstantin began solo work. Two days after the collapse of the creative union, the younger Burdaev performed in the first solo concert in one of the capital's clubs.
Six months later, Kostya recruited a new line-up of musicians and began performing under the name "Grim". In the spring of 2010, the musician restored the name of the renewed collective, which became famous: "The Brothers Grim", although Boris never returned to the group.
Konstantin Burdaev has a third marriage. His current wife is Tatiana Levina. Interesting fact: their first meeting took place in 2005, when Tanya was still a little girl. At that time, the future spouses were united only by love for creativity and for stage activities.
