Sending a parcel seems simple and straightforward. I bought a box, put my things in there, wrote down the address - and you're done. So that the addressee does not experience disappointment at the sight of what has been received, each of the above actions must be performed in accordance with the rules of mailing.

Instructions

Step 1

For parcels sent to Kazakhstan, as well as for all others, there are restrictions on size and weight. Your container should not be more than 1.05 m in any dimension; the sum of the length and perimeter of the largest cross-section is no more than two meters. Ordinary parcels should not be heavier than 10 kilograms. If the parcel weighs from 10 to 20 kg, it can be accepted, but it will be processed as heavy. Reception and delivery of similar ones take place in specially designated post offices. In some cases, parcels that are longer than the norm (but within two meters) are accepted if the perimeter of their largest cross-section is no more than one meter.

Step 2

Check out the list of prohibited items and substances. It can be found on the Internet (for example, on the website of the Russian Post). In each country, this list can be supplemented - this information can be found in the post office immediately before sending.

Step 3

After making sure that your parcel meets the named parameters, select a container suitable for it. It is desirable that in terms of volume it should be as close as possible to the investment volume. In order not to be mistaken when choosing, you can bring the package with the items to be sent to the post office and "try on" the box before buying.

Step 4

It is more convenient to pack a parcel at home. Wrap fragile items with bubble wrap or several layers of cloth. Make sure that the jars of bulk products are sealed tightly so that none of the items will stain or remember the neighboring ones. It is better to collect the smallest of them in a separate box and glue / bandage it.

Step 5

If the box is too large, the empty space needs to be filled. The most convenient material for these purposes is polystyrene - it is strong enough and at the same time lightweight, which means its effect on the weight and cost of the parcel will be minimal.

Step 6

Do not close the box with the packed things - post office employees have the right to inspect its contents. Ask the parcels and parcels department for customs declaration forms for shipments to Kazakhstan. Indicate in them the data of the addressee and addressee and list everything that you put in the box. General phrases are not allowed here - objects and their number must be named specifically.

Step 7

Write the sender and recipient addresses on the box (legible, preferably in block letters). Since Russian is the official language in Kazakhstan, all data can be indicated only in Russian.
