Alena Sviridova is a three-time winner of the Golden Gramophone Prize, Honored Artist of Russia, the owner of a beautiful voice and bright appearance. To date, the singer is not so actively pursuing her musical career, but she often appears on the air of "Road Radio".
Childhood and youth
Alena Valentinovna Sviridova was born on August 14, 1962 in the eastern Crimean city of Kerch. The girl was not the only child in the family, she has a younger brother Alexei. Her father served in the military aviation, and her mother devoted her life to working on the radio. Soon after the birth of their daughter, the whole family moved to the village of Otradnaya in the Krasnodar Territory, and then to Minsk. In the hometown of the girl, only her grandmother remained, whom Alena visited every summer.
Thus, almost all of Sviridova's childhood was spent in Minsk. After school for higher education, the girl went to the local pedagogical institute (now the BSPU named after Maxim Tank), where she mastered the profession of a music teacher.
Career
The girl was imbued with love for the stage in her student years. It was then that she began to perform as a member of the team at the plant. Vavilov (now BelOMO). Together with other members of this ensemble, she toured a number of cities in Belarus.
Subsequently, she composed several songs, which were included in the rotation of Minsk radio stations. At that time, Alena grabbed every opportunity to conquer the stage, since the work of a simple music teacher no longer attracted her. Thanks to the fact that she had her own repertoire of several compositions, she became a regular at the local Palaces of Culture and music festivals.
After graduation, without much popularity and numerous offers for concerts, Sviridova got a job at the state drama theater, where she played several bright and memorable roles. But in her heart she had only one dream - to conquer the big stage. Her career went uphill with the collapse of the Soviet Union, then she began performing as an opening act for established show business stars.
During one of these performances, she was noticed by one Moscow producer. He suggested that the aspiring artist move to the capital of the fraternal state and develop a career there, to which Alena agreed.
But in order for her upcoming debut album to become popular, she needed to establish herself among the public in a new country for her. In order to present her work, she began to participate in such competitions as "Song-93", "Generation-93" and many others.
After that, she released the single "Pink Flamingo", which consolidated the girl's success on the big stage of the post-Soviet space. And in order to finally make a splash, in 1994 Sviridova's debut disc entitled "Pink Flamingo" was released, which makes her a truly famous performer.
And then there was everything: shooting on television, and many video clips, and touring the CIS countries.
The singer's discography includes 7 albums, the last of which was released in 2017. Also in the arsenal of the performer there are more than 20 video clips for her own compositions.
Personal life
In the life of the once popular artist, there were many fans. In 1980, she became the wife of Sergei Sviridov, to whom she later gave birth to a son, Vasily. However, the family life of the spouses did not work out, and they were forced to leave.
Then the American Henry Peacock appeared in Alena's life, with whom she signed in 1998. But this alliance was also destined to end.
Sviridova continued to seek her happiness, and on her way met a man named Dmitry, with whom she lived for 4 years in a civil marriage. The couple broke up due to the girl's excessive independence, who wanted to keep everything under control and make all decisions alone. During their life together, they had a son, Gregory.
In 2012, she had a new boyfriend named David Vardanyan. The man is 14 years younger than his companion.
