Biography

Mikhail Kukota was born in 1986 in the city of Novoaleksandrovsk, Stavropol Territory. The family was engaged in agriculture, so after school the young man decided to follow in the same footsteps and continued his studies at the Stavropol State Agrarian University, which he subsequently successfully graduated with a diploma in electrical engineering. In his student years, Mikhail became an active player in the KVN team and immediately established himself as a master of pantomime.

In 2007, Kukota entered the city KVN team, where he met his future partner in a humorous career, Igor Chekhov (the artist's real name is Yegor Kozlikin). Young people quickly became friends and together entered the St. Petersburg Institute of Performing Arts. The duet "Partisans" was born. Comedians successfully passed the casting in the television show "Laughter without Rules" on the TNT channel, after which they received an invitation to participate in the "Slaughter League" and "Do not sleep!" The guys called their style of performance "plastic idiocy".

After the closure of "Uboyka" "Partizans" appeared less and less on television. They worked as presenters at weddings and corporate parties, but they constantly dreamed of something more. This is how his own theater project “Show for Everyone” was born. The duet, which changed its name to "Kukota & Chekhov", has successfully performed with performances of its own production not only in Russia, but also abroad. Fans have repeatedly asked them to return to television, but they were in no hurry to answer.

And yet, in 2017, Mikhail Kukota and Igor Chekhov unexpectedly returned to their "native" channel "TNT". They have twice won the Comedy Battle show, receiving substantial prizes and the right to become residents of the main comedy show of the Comedy Club channel. So the popular duo firmly established itself both on television and outside it. They still perform in the genre of the beloved pantomimes, which have now become even crazier in a good way.

Personal life

Mikhail Kukota is married to a girl named Ulyana, who is one of his longtime and devoted fans. He enjoys communicating with admirers of creativity on social networks, continues to study theatrical art, is fond of music and literature.

The duet "Kukota & Chekhov" still has many unrealized plans, which are gradually becoming known to the public. So in 2018, Mikhail Kukota unexpectedly became the host of the program "Everything except the usual" on "TV-3", in which magicians from different countries are fighting among themselves for a large cash prize. Interestingly, Yulia Topolnitskaya, the wife of Igor Chekhov, Kukota's partner in a humorous project, became its co-host.
