Step 1
To get a voucher with a discount or without any payment at all, contact the Social Insurance Fund (or its branch in your city). This organization works with citizens who have benefits for obtaining vouchers. If the beneficiary has not refused this type of benefits, he has every right to count on free health improvement.
Step 2
Prepare documents confirming that you belong to one of the following low-income categories: • disabled people of the Second World War;
• veterans of any military action;
• participants of the Great Patriotic War;
• persons who have received the insignia of a resident of besieged Leningrad;
• invalids of the first, as well as the second and third groups of labor restriction;
• disabled children;
• participants in the liquidation of the 1986 accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant;
• persons who were exposed to radiation during the tests in Semipalatinsk;
• children under 18 years of age living under guardianship, children from low-income families who are registered with the local social protection authority.
Step 3
Having collected the necessary documents, contact the polyclinic at the place of residence and take there a certificate corresponding to the form 070 / u-04, stating that you need spa treatment. The validity of the certificate of this form is exactly 6 months.
Step 4
Come with the received certificate to the Social Insurance Fund, write an application for a free voucher for you. You will be put on a queue, and within a certain period you should have the opportunity to undergo free recovery in a sanatorium or resort.
Step 5
You also have the right to contact the local social welfare authorities, and if your family is recognized as low-income, your child will be able to go to a health institution for treatment with a 50% discount. Health institutions must grant the right to preferential spa treatment throughout the year, so you can apply at the end of summer and even in winter.
