Globalization is a worldwide and irreversible process. Politics, economics, and culture of countries around the world have been integrating as quickly as possible in recent decades. Of course, globalization also affects the lives of ordinary people.

Step 1

Partial loss of independence.

The centralization of management is taking place on a worldwide scale. Subjects of state power transfer some of their powers to powerful supranational associations - the IMF, UN, WTO, World Bank, European Union, NATO, etc. As a result, the governments of states that have joined certain organizations cannot pursue a full-fledged independent policy. It is necessary to take into account the interests not only of your country and people, but also of the above organizations. As a result, it turns out that countries such as Bulgaria, Romania, Greece allow the European Union to almost completely make decisions on a number of national issues. And, for example, France and Germany are under the pressure of NATO in military matters.

Step 2

Economic globalization.

This aspect seems to be the most interesting in the framework of global integration. Standardization of world trade, uniform rules for conducting international transactions - all this should be convenient. But in practice it turns out a little differently. The general rules are written in the interests of those developed countries that took the most active part in their drafting. Any state can certainly receive some local benefits, but in a large-scale perspective, engaging in trade according to someone else's rules can be detrimental to the national economy. There are also regional economic associations, for example, the Eurozone. It is difficult to judge whether they are all successful for their members, since each such association has its own goals and objectives.

Step 3

Mass culture.

Globalization is also taking place in creative fields. In practice, it turns out that cultures are also unequal, and it is not integration that occurs, but the Americanization of all nations. Movies, music, TV shows are often of very high quality. However, due to the lack of an alternative, this process is more like the dominance of one national culture.
