Instructions

Step 1

Visit the military registration and enlistment office in Ukraine, if you are a man of draft age (from 18 to 25 years old), and take a certificate of the possibility of your departure for permanent residence abroad. If you have resolved the issue of conscription (you served in the army, use a deferral or are exempted from conscription for health reasons or on other legal grounds), this document will be given to you without any problems. In other cases, it remains to take care of the grounds for the postponement or exemption from the draft.

Step 2

Get a certificate from the tax office at your place of residence in Ukraine stating that you have no unfulfilled obligations to the budget.

Step 3

Take a certificate from the last employer in Ukraine about the absence of material claims against you. If you have changed jobs over the past five years, you will need such a certificate from everyone. If possible, ask that the certificates be sent to you by mail or sent in another way to a Russian address. If you cannot get these certificates, make four notarized copies of the work book.

Step 4

If your parents remain in Ukraine, ask them to draw up and give you notarial statements of the absence of material claims and three notarized copies of each document. A similar set will be required from the legal representative of your minor children if they remain in Ukraine. If they leave with you to Russia, and their other legal representative remains in Ukraine, he will have to issue his consent for their departure and three notarized copies of it. When your parents live outside Ukraine, documentary evidence of this fact will be required. For example, if they live in the Russian Federation, extracts from the house book at the place of residence.

Step 5

Contact the nearest consulate of Ukraine for notarization of documents: birth, marriage and divorce certificates, birth certificates of minor children, death of parents or spouse, or a document on deprivation of his parental rights, if applicable, a work book, if there are no certificates from the last places of work in Ukraine. Also certify the signature on the application to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at the place of registration to remove you from registration.

Step 6

Make four photocopies of your domestic and foreign (if any) passports and a mark of registration at the place of residence in the Russian Federation in your passport or certificate of registration at the place of residence.

Step 7

Take a photo. You will need four 35 x 45 mm photographs without corners or curls.

Step 8

Submit a complete set of documents to the consulate for verification.

Step 9

If everything is in order with the papers, pay the consular fee (details and instructions for payment you will receive at the consulate).

Step 10

Submit a package of documents to the consulate. Within two months you will receive a passport with a stamp of permanent residence in the Russian Federation.
