The process of sending a parcel to Ukraine is not much different from that to a Russian address. Is that tariffs, since in the current realities Ukraine is a different state. Delivery times may be slightly longer than a similar distance within the country, but in general, shipments reach the addressees fairly quickly.
It is necessary
- - special box;
- - money to pay for mail services.
Instructions
Step 1
You can solve the packaging issue yourself or purchase a box with the required dimensions directly from the post office. Special packaging for international shipments is not required, since you will still pay the cost of delivery in cash to the operator. When buying a package at the post office, you can fill it with the contents right at the post office or, if you do not want to make it the property of strangers, at home, but for this you have walk to the post office and back again.
Step 2
Postal codes in Ukraine have been five-digit for many years: one digit less than ours. Therefore, when filling in the standard field for this component of the address on the package, leave the first cell empty. It is customary to write Ukrainian addresses according to the principle "from private to general": start with the addressee's name and end with the country. For example: “Shevchenko Ivan Mikhailovich, 26, st. Khreshchatyk, apt. 6, Kiev, Ukraine ".
However, nowadays it is customary to write addresses in Russia as well.
Step 3
Hand the sealed package box to the operator. He will weigh it and calculate the cost of delivery. And after accepting the payment, he will give you a check, which will contain a 13-digit postal identifier. Using these numbers, you can track the fate of your shipment through the official websites of the Russian Post and a similar service in Ukraine. And if you give the identifier to the addressee, so will he.
