However, the bright pages of his biography and personal life were darkened by accusations of sexual harassment on the part of many actresses. Biography
Harvey Weinstein was born in 1952 in New York. He was brought up with his brother Bob in an ordinary American family. From a young age, the brothers were distinguished by their talent for entrepreneurship. They started out by organizing parties, concerts and other events. Things were going uphill, and finally, Harvey, along with Bob, founded their production company Miramax, named after their parents, whose names were Miriam and Max.
The Weinstein dreamed of doing cinema, but they did not know at all where to start. They talked for a long time with amateur directors, learning how films are made, as well as buying up the best, in their opinion, films for a low price and selling them to cinemas at exorbitant prices. In 2017, actress Ashley Judd told reporters that Harvey Weinstein repeatedly molested her and nearly raped her. This happened during the next filming, when Judd and Weinstein were in the same hotel.
