Biography

Lyudmila was born in the village of Kudryavtsy on December 13, 1950. The family was exemplary by Soviet standards: the mother was a teacher at the school, and the father worked as the head of the local house of culture. It was thanks to her father that Lyudmila fell in love with the stage. In 1960, the family, after offering the singer's father a job, moved to Krivoy Rog, where little Lyudmila went to a music and singing club.

After graduating from school, she decided to enter a music school in Leningrad, but did not make it to the qualifying round. Frustrated, Lyudmila was walking along the corridor of the school when she came across a member of the examination committee, whom she managed to persuade to give her a chance to audition. In the end, thanks to the excellent performance of Schubert's work, Senchina received admission to the exams. So, having successfully passed all the exams, she became an entrant in the musical comedy department of the Rimsky-Korsakov School.

Creation

After graduating from college, Lyudmila performed as a member of the troupe of the theater of musical comedy in the city of Leningrad, but without working together with the new chief director Vladimir Vorobyov, she left the theater. Lyudmila Petrovna Senchina became popularly known in 1971 after the memorable performance of Igor Tsvetkov's song "Cinderella" on the "Blue Light". Such compositions as "White Dance", "Good Fairy Tale", "Bird cherry" and others also became the singer's visiting cards. At the same time, Lyudmila was a soloist of the State Concert Orchestra of the city of Leningrad from 1975 to 1985.

Personal life

Senchina was officially married twice, they were not married with their third husband. The first husband was Vyacheslav Fedorovich Timoshin - the soloist of the operetta. In a ten-year marriage, his beloved son Vyacheslav was born. Even after parting, the former spouses maintain friendly relations with each other.

In 1980, Senchina married musician Stas Namin and also lived with him for ten years. The singer, recalling her husband, says that he opened for her an interesting world of other music and literature, they had a lot in common with him, but Stas's jealousy led to the need to part.

For twenty-five years, Lyudmila Senchina lived with her beloved man - producer Vladimir Andreev. Together they went through the hungry 90s, when Lyudmila had a break in her career due to the lack of offers for performances.

Last years

On January 25, 2018, Lyudmila Petrovna Senchina did not come out of a coma and died in the hospital after an unsuccessful struggle with a serious illness - pancreatic cancer. Until the last days, she did not stop giving performances and was even going to sing at a concert in January 2018 for the 74th anniversary of the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad.
