Actor Dmitry Podnozov is well known to St. Petersburg theater lovers - after all, it was he who founded the Osobnyak theater and plays in it as an actor. Russian viewers remember very well the vivid roles performed by Dmitry Vladimirovich in films of various genres.
Biography
Dmitry Podnozov was born in Leningrad in 1961. His childhood was cloudless, as was the case with the children of the Soviet Union. He often went to the cinema and once realized that he saw artists on the screen and that it was they who made him experience such strong emotions. It was then that he realized that he himself also wanted to become an actor, so that he could experience this miracle himself and that those who saw him also experienced it.
Therefore, at school, Dmitry participated in all school performances - he gained mastery. And after receiving the certificate, he entered LGITMiK, where he was accepted without much effort on his part. Education was given to him easily - after all, the theater was originally his love.
After graduating from high school, he worked in various theaters, and then Podnozov moved again to Leningrad, and there another of his dreams came true: he became one of the founders of his own theater. This happened in 1989. Since then, both in his native theater and in others, a huge number of roles have been played in classical and modern productions.
Film career
For the sake of truth, I must say that Dmitry starred in the cinema even earlier - in 1987 in the film "Habitat". He watched Nikolai Karachentsov, Pyotr Velyaminov and Valery Ivchenko play. It was unforgettable and almost like in childhood: emotions, discoveries, comprehension.
However, he later became interested in theater again and returned to cinema only in 2001, starring in the series. Until 2005, he had only "passing" roles in the series, and in 2005, he got the main role in "Fairy Tale O Happiness". He played a disgraced major, who was given a seemingly trifling case. But then it turned into a real detective story.
Another large and very noticeable work of Podnozov is the role of Vanya in the film "Seven Invisible Men". This is a joint project of Lithuanian, French and Portuguese filmmakers, similar to a parable.
There are also historical works in his portfolio: revolutionary Bokiya in the film “Stolypin. Unlearned Lessons”(2006) and Count Shuvalov in the TV project“With Pen and Sword”(2007).
However, in the main, Dmitriy Vladimirovich still plays people of the military or those who are in power structures: investigators, forensics, police officers and the like. You can name a number of full-length films where Podnozov embodied the images of strong and strong-willed men who know how to achieve justice at any cost, even risking their own lives.
This list includes the series "Moscow Courtyard" (2009), the film "Which Was Not", the series "Secrets of the Investigation" (2010), "Unfasten Your Belts" (2012), "Heterosens of Major Sokolov" (2013), "Great" (2015).
In contrast to these roles in other projects, Podnozov played a trick supplier, a thief, and a supplier.
The best works in his portfolio are considered the film directed by Sokurov "The Sun" (2005) and the series "Detachment", "My Eyes", "Cop Wars-2", "Russian Translation" and "Scout".
