The northern capital is gradually returning to normal life. The introduction of quarantine restrictions benefited everyone: both the city health care system and the residents of St. Petersburg themselves.

The epidemiological situation in the city is beginning to improve, as Governor Alexander Beglov noted, adding that the number of recovering already exceeds the number of cases. The number of hospitalizations of patients with covid also decreased.

St. Petersburg, according to the chief specialist of the St. Petersburg Committee of Healthcare Andrei Ivanov, has already become one of the leaders in the number of tests for coronavirus. The city ranks fourth.

More and more people can check their health. This, by the way, is an important stage in the fight against coronavirus, since a person is checked for the presence of the active phase of the disease and the pathogen, as well as for antibodies.

The city authorities are gradually beginning to lift the restrictions imposed. So, at the end of June, summer verandas were again operational in St. Petersburg, albeit subject to a number of conditions. Solemn registration of marriages is also permitted. And women from St. Petersburg will finally be able to get a manicure.

The provision of socio-psychological and socio-pedagogical services has been resumed, but with the use of distance technologies and in a semi-stationary form.

The doors of the city zoo are open. The main thing is that visitors should remember that masks and gloves have not been canceled yet.

Citizens should remember that the second wave of coronavirus is very real. Experts and doctors predict a new round of covid disease by the fall. With the beginning of their studies in schools and universities, young people who previously had a rest on vacation will return to the city. Don't forget about freshmen too. There are no guarantees that the guys will not bring the infection. Each Russian region has its own coronavirus epidemiological situation, and not always good.

The city authorities, taking into account such forecasts, continue to prepare. Petersburg needs full-fledged hospitals, not temporary hospitals like Lenexpo. Thus, the financing of the Kolpino hospital was increased.

According to Beglov, the city is getting ready, but we should not forget about the safety rules: “I have been to the red zones and hospitals a lot. People are seriously ill. And they say: "Was it really difficult for me to put on a mask and gloves?" These are incomparable things. " So remember about social distance, masks and gloves. A normal person thinks about his health and about the fact that it is unacceptable to endanger other people because of his own irresponsibility. The removal of restrictions is, of course, wonderful, but if we forget about these rules, we will get the second wave of coronavirus, so do not relax! Remember, health comes first.
