Ageev Roman Olegovich is an actor whose face is known to all domestic fans of TV series. He is constantly invited to play the roles of colorful, brutal characters in crime dramas and romantic films. In 2018 he starred in the historical film Sobibor. But in addition to working in films, Ageev actively performs on the stage of the theater.
Biography of the actor
Ageev Roman Olegovich was born in early 1974 in the town of Polyarnye Zori, located on the banks of the Niva River, not far from Murmansk. He was a very active and independent child, he was a hooligan, skipped school, loved to get involved in adventures and troubles, for which he was more than once strongly "flew in" from his strict father. Moreover, the actor himself recalls this time with tenderness and is grateful to his parents for a rather harsh upbringing.
Roman's family was simple, working and had nothing to do with creativity. But he himself fell ill with the dream of getting on the screen from early childhood. It was then that the first color televisions began to appear, and the boy was delighted with the work of the actors, embodying the heroes of his favorite books in films.
After graduating from school, Ageev, after consulting with his parents, left for St. Petersburg to enter the Academy of Theater Arts. He succeeded, and he studied with the famous director and People's Artist Semyon Spivak.
Career
Roman went to work in Spivakov's "theater on the Fontanka" after graduating from high school in 1999. Six years later he left for the Bolshoi Drama Theater, but to this day he works with Fontanka under a contract. In the theater, Roman Ageev has played more than 15 roles in popular performances, many of which are still on today.
On the set of the movie, Roman Ageev first tried his hand in 2000, starring in a small episode of the lyric drama "The Garden Was Full of the Moon." And a year later he embodied one of the heroes of the cult Bodrov Jr. in his only directorial work, the crime drama Sisters. With this film, fame came. Then there were several more works in the cinema, and since 2004 Ageev took a short break from filming and plunged headlong into theatrical work.
Since 2007, Roman Olegovich has been taking part in the filming of films and series on Russian television every year. He performed about 30 roles in films and more than forty - in television series, including such as "Deadly Force", "Gangster Petersburg", "Bailiffs" and others. In 2018 he played in the historical drama Sobibor.
Personal life
Roman Ageev found his love back in 1997. She was an ordinary girl named Alena. In 1998 they became husband and wife. The couple have two children, a son, Oleg, named after the actor's father, and a daughter, Martha. Ageev is an exemplary family man and never in his biography there were gossips and scandals related to the family. The wife is actively involved in raising children, teaching them music and art. Oleg is seriously involved in sports - swimming and judo.
