Julianne Hough loved to sing and dance from early childhood. And nature has also rewarded her with an amazing sense of purpose. Having outlined something, the girl never backed down and did not give up until she got what she wanted. Someone will consider it a whim, and someone stubborn, but facts are stubborn things. This quality helped Juliana to "make a start in life."

Childhood and youth

She was born in the small town of Orem, Utah. The family had five children. Julie was the smallest. At the age of 10, her parents sent the girl to London to learn the basics of acting. And while still quite a baby, she already tasted the adult independent life. Left alone in a big unfamiliar city, without parents, the baby was not frightened, but rather, on the contrary, was delighted.

After all, a great goal loomed in front of her - to become the most famous of the actresses, whose name would never leave her lips.

When Julianne was 12, she, along with her brother and their mutual friend, formed the group 2B1G.

The name was translated very naively and in a childish way - two boys and one girl.

The teenagers performed at various “young talent” contests and in between dance shows. Even then, they gained their first popularity.

Julianne's older brother, Derek, was fond of dancing from the cradle and was quite successful in this field. Therefore, wherever possible, he dragged Julie along with him, seeing that the girl was also interested in this.

Their love for dancing was family and most likely passed on to children by genes. Julie and Derek's grandparents were award-winning ballroom dancers. Apparently, fate was destined to dispose so that the grandchildren continue the work of the older generation and put themselves on the altar of art.

At the age of 15, the girl, tired of the frenzied sports rhythm, returned to Las Vegas, to her mother. She came home not empty-handed, but with a victory in the International Dance Competition among youth.

Working long and hard on this crushing success, the girl was simply exhausted. Having received the first place, Julie realized that she could not continue this way. For the second such victory, she does not have enough mental or physical strength.

Having weighed everything well, she decided to take a break from exhausting workouts and live the life of an ordinary fifteen-year-old teenager. Moreover, next to her was the dearest and closest person - her mother.

While living in Las Vegas, she recovered and rested. Plus, she graduated from high school. After some time, it became quite obvious to her that it was time to return to "adulthood."

Julie could no longer imagine herself without dancing and a stage.

Arriving in Utah, to her father, she continued her studies at the acting school, boldly going towards her dream.

The beginning of a dance career

Juliana's debut performance on television was the show “Show me the money”, after which the girl was noticed and invited to participate in “Dancing with the Stars”.

In 2006, the project was very hyped and popular, so fame began to slowly condescend to Julie. Twice she won the project and left it triumphant. Over the course of eight long years, she gave all her best in "Dancing with the Stars", surprising the audience with her artistry.

Her stunning choreography did not leave indifferent the judges of the project. In 2014, Juliana was offered to participate in the show in a completely different capacity - not as a participant, but as a judge.

Naturally, it would be unforgivable to refuse such an offer. Juliana Hough became the fourth judge on the draft.

Filmmaking

At the age of 13, Julie was lucky enough to fulfill the dream of millions of children and star in the super-popular fantasy film about Harry Potter. This was the first film about a young wizard, which thundered all over the world.

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was the title of the picture in which Julie played one of the Hogwarts students.

The role was more than secondary. But the film itself turned out to be above all praise. He literally fell in love with small and large TV viewers from the very first shots.

The next role in the movie turned out to be more extensive and fruitful. Julie starred in the musical film Burlesque. There she played the role of a young singer struggling through the thorns of failure to success.

The most successful professionally for her was the rock musical of the same name "Rock for Ages". Here the girl played the main character. Her "fellow in the shop" was Tom Cruise. The film turned out to be light, like an airy biscuit and romantic, like French cinema.

According to critics, Julie coped with her task with a plus. But not all pictures with her participation were so naively cute and touching.

There were also serious, thoughtful roles. For example, in the film "Safe Harbor" Juliana reincarnated as an unhappy woman whom her husband fell out of love. The husband mocked the heroine in every possible way and she had to run to start life from scratch.

Personal life

The personal life of a young dancer, actress and performer, as befits grandfathers of her age, is stormy and active. On the Dancing with the Stars project, Julie met musician Chuck Wixon.

They were united by an unbridled love for music and an ardent passion. Chuck sang country songs in which the girl didted. They often sang together at parties. The couple existed for a year, after which they parted.

Hough's next boyfriend was TV presenter Ryan Seacrest. But this union also turned out to be impermanent, like everything in this world. Three years later, the young people went their separate ways.

In 2014, Julie met the man of her dreams - a young hockey player Brooks Laika.

They got married two years later.
