Step 1
The technical passport of the BTI contains information about the consumer properties and technical characteristics of the property, including information from the state technical accounting and other information required by the owner. Determine which department of the BTI is engaged in issuing passports in your area. The State Unitary Enterprise Moscow City Bureau of Technical Inventory operates in Moscow. It is divided into territorial subdivisions by districts. In St. Petersburg, a similar situation: each district has its own department of the BTI. Step 2
If you live in an existing building, you will need a technical passport for redevelopment and other similar changes. Submit to the territorial subdivision of the State Unitary Enterprise MosgorBTI (if you live in Moscow) in the “one window” mode an application for obtaining a technical passport of the BTI, a passport, a certificate of registration of ownership of the object, documents on the refurbishment of the premises.
Step 3
Those, whose house is just being built, also need to obtain a technical passport. In this case, submit the following documents to the BTI authorities:
1. application for the issuance of a passport;
2. administrative document on the allocation of a land plot;
3. permission to build a house;
4. situational plan of the land plot;
5. house project;
6. permission to put the house into operation;
7. passport (other personal document).
If you receive a BTI passport for an apartment, you do not need to provide documents for land.
Step 4
After submitting the documents, the contractor will be sent to you. He should conduct an analysis of the facility and the available documentation. This means inspecting the facility for the production of redevelopments and other changes. After the analysis has been carried out, sign an agreement with the contractor. Based on this agreement, work will begin on the preparation of a technical passport. After its manufacture, it is handed over to the customer under the act of transfer. Since the work on the production of the technical passport of the BTI is carried out on a paid basis, pay the receipt issued to you by the BTI authority. There is no exact cost of preparing BTI documents, it depends on the area of the premises for which such documents are prepared.
