Evgeny Perov is a theater and film actor. He got so accustomed to the role that he never overplayed. The talent allowed the People's and Honored Artist of the RSFSR to play geniusly comic, tragic, and everyday images.
Evgeny Vladimirovich did not graduate from the Moscow Art Theater School. His whole life was connected with the Central Children's Theater of the capital.
Working by vocation
In Borisoglebsk in 1919, on September 7, the biography of the future famous performer began. There is almost no information about the time of his childhood. His artistic career started in 1936. Eugene at the age of seventeen entered the stage of the Pskov pedagogical theater.
He served in Leningrad. There he was educated at a theatrical college, came to the Leningrad Youth Theater. Until 1945, the artist played at the Black Sea Theater. During the Great Patriotic War he performed at the front.
Awarded for the defense of Sevastopol, the Caucasus. There are medals and orders "For Military Merit" and "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." The artist reached Bulgaria with Romania. After the end of the battles, Evgeny Vladimirovich moved to the capital.
He began work at the Central Children's Theater. Perov remained loyal to him until the end of his life, despite Efros's invitations to move to Lenkom. Since 1946, the artist became the leading performer of the Central Theater Company. The debut was the role of Pavka Korchagin.
This image brought fame to Perov unprecedented. In 1947, the production of How the Steel Was Tempered was a huge success. All publications discussed the performance, which reflected the patriotism of the attitude of the post-war youth. They wrote about the novice actor that he surprisingly fully revealed the spiritual world of his character.
Thanks to Perov's talent, the audience saw his spiritual nobility behind the severity of Korchagin's character. After the first deafening success, the young actor did not start star fever. With even greater efforts he set about mastering artistic skills.
Genius of the scene
A year later, Eugene got the role of the Storyteller in the production of The Snow Queen. This image was also brilliantly played. This was followed by work on the role of Andrei Gavrilovich Dubrovsky based on Pushkin's story "Dubrovsky". The young performer got used to the role of an elderly landowner.
In the scene of the meeting with Troekurov, Evgeny Vladimirovich portrayed the insult so naturally that the audience froze, worrying about the artist.
The performer entered the stage without makeup. He only changed his hair. Perov preferred to either comb his hair in the middle, or "put it on end." In "Uncle Tom's Cabin" Evgeny Vladimirovich got the main character.
The performer had to use black makeup. According to the plot of the production, Tom says goodbye to loved ones after the sale. The artist cried from the experience so that tears ran down his cheeks, washing off the makeup and forming white stripes. But the audience sobbed with him, not noticing the comicality of the situation.
The arrival of Efros made almost all the actors of the Central Theater Theater famous. At that time, the director was fond of Rozov's work. Perov was sensitive to the characters of the playwright. They perfectly matched his character with their directness, naturalness. The actor was involved in all performances.
He became a real celebrity after "In Search of Joy" 1957. For fifteen years the production did not leave the stage. On the basis of the same play in 1960, the film "A Noisy Day" was shot with Perov in the title role. The work brought him all-Union popularity. Despite the fact that the image of Ivan Lapshin was negative, he was remembered by many for the performance and picture.
The culmination was the scene of the stopping of Gennady, father Gennady, who had swung at his son, who had not previously contradicted his parent. The face of the actor at these moments also radiated despair from the loss of control over the offspring. The realization that Gennady became an adult filled the artist's eyes with tears, making it impossible for further viewing without a lump in his throat.
Work and family
Many works by Rozov were staged on the stage of the Central House of Theaters. The most famous were the performances "Unequal Battle", "Good Hour". Director Alexei Popov, who came to one of the performances, admitted that no one can outplay such performers. He especially noted Perov. Only Russian Jean Gabin could withstand such pauses on stage.
During rehearsals, the artist did not record anything. He listened to the director, did not ask questions. The artist perceived all the roles in his own way. Evgeny Vladimirovich trusted his intuition, the first impression after reading the role. The performer passed all the heroes through himself. He never repeated any of the characters. Even when playing in the performance "Behavior Zero", Perov's teacher was different every time.
Little is known about the artist's personal life. He was a family man. The names of his wife and daughter were the same. Both were named Lyuba. Both loved and protected the actor very much. In 1982 Perov starred in the film "Traffic Inspector". He played the role of Evgeny Vladimirovich Naumenkov, deputy chairman of the district executive committee.
According to the plot, Inspector Zykov is known as an eccentric. The main thing for him is compliance with the rules, and not who is driving. He took away the driving license for speeding from the director of a local car service. Trunov's authority with the city authorities is very high. Everybody repairs their cars at his place. For Zykov, his adherence to principles may end badly.
However, the inspector is not going to bend, and his boss is unable to influence the subordinate. Blackmail and threats come into play. The inspector continues to insist on his own. The incorruptible Zykov is demoted, but his methods are on a roll. Realizing that everything cannot be bought, Trunov personally comes to talk to the former inspector. After Zykov's explanation, Trunov agrees with his position. He returns to the city in a passing car.
The picture was Perov's last film work. The artist passed away in 1992, on February 27. He had a difficult and interesting life. He starred a lot, but his heart was always given to the theater.
