Biography

Boris Ilyich Seidenberg was born in the beautiful city of Odessa in 1929. Here he spent his childhood and youth, and then he flew away from his native nest. It's just that Boris knew from an early age that he would be an actor. And when the school years ended, I went to get an acting education at the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute named after. Ostrovsky. After graduating from university, Seidenberg began a nomadic life: he worked in one theater, then in another. And then, nevertheless, he realized that there was no place better than his native Odessa, and returned to his small homeland. Here he entered the service at the Ivanov Russian Drama Theater and worked on its stage all his life.

Boris Ilyich had such a quality necessary for a person of the creative profession as self-exactingness and constant improvement in acting. Therefore, very quickly he earned the love of the audience and the recognition of colleagues.

It was the desire to grow in his profession that prompted him to try his hand as a theater director. Here he was also successful: he became the director of twelve performances of different genres, which were successfully held on the stage of the theater. Critics noted that the young director succeeds in detailed elaboration of the characters of the play's heroes and the expressiveness of techniques that make it possible to reveal the deep psychological meaning of the production. Spectators with great pleasure went to Seidenberg's performances.

Film career

From the very debut, Boris Ilyich was good at playing the role of the military or representatives of power structures. The first film where he made his debut as a film actor is called "The Viper" (1965). It was filmed based on the story of Alexei Tolstoy, and Seidenberg played here the red commander Yemelyanov.

And his best role is considered the image of Captain Orlov in the military drama "Liberation" (1969). The actor played similar roles in the films "Battle for Berlin", "Great Confrontation" and others. "Liberation" is an epic film in which the actor starred together with the famous Nikolai Oyalin, Mikhail Ulyanov, Larisa Golubkina, Vladimirov Samoilov and other great actors. This epic became the best in his acting portfolio.

And the best series, where Boris Ilyich starred, is considered the project "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn" (1981).

Personal life

Boris Seidenberg was lucky with his wife: clever, beautiful, besides an actress. That is, he and Albina Skarga had common interests. And when the children were born, a happy life began at all.

The children of Boris Ilyich also became actors and, following the example of their parents, serve in the Odessa Russian Drama Theater.

Seidenberg passed away in October 2000 and was buried in Odessa.
