Without this person, the Mirage group would not have become the group that music lovers know. The guitar of Alexei Gorbashov, combined with dance rhythms, has become the hallmark of a popular musical group. Being one of the best guitarists in the country, Gorbashov joined Mirage back in 1988.
From the biography of Alexei Borisovich Gorbashov
The future Russian musician was born on November 29, 1961 in Lyubertsy (Moscow region). From a young age, Alexei was interested in photography. Another of the young man's hobbies was music. Already in the second half of the 70s, the young man plunged into creativity, working in the orchestra of the local Palace of Culture, through which Alexander Barykin, famous throughout the country, passed through. Alexey graduated from high school in 1978, then decided to continue his education and entered the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering (MIEM).
Remembering his youth, Alexei calls his hometown tough. The harsh youth environment shaped the character of the future rock musician, becoming a test not only for survival, but also for honesty and a sense of justice. The city of Lyubertsy has become a school of life for many. Here, meanness, deception and betrayal have never been forgiven.
Working with the "Mirage" group
In 1988, the Studio "Sound" invited Gorbashov to take part in the creation of the second album of the musical group "Mirage". At that time, Natalya Vetlitskaya was the soloist in the team. It was participation in this project that allowed the guitarist to show musical abilities and express his creative ideas. Soon Gorbashov became one of the best guitarists in the country in the version of the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper.
Since the end of the 90s, Alexei has taken part in the tour of the Mirage group across Russia and Europe. In those years, the soloist of the group was Ekaterina Boldysheva.
Since 2004, Gorbashov has been cooperating with Dutch partners, performing the functions of a producer.
In December 2004, a joint concert of all the Mirage participants took place in the Olimpiyskiy Sports Complex. Gorbashov became one of the initiators of the show. Two years later, the 18 Years Mirage disc was released. Work on this project took place in the Netherlands, with the participation of Gorbashov and director Anthony Hayuskamp.
Work in other projects
The creative activity of Alexei Gorbashov began long before the Mirage. In 1983, the musician took part in the concert of the Aquarium group, which took place at MIEM. In 1986, the guitarist worked in the musical group "Alpha". The collaboration with the group lasted for about two years.
Gorbashov also took part in the recording of the first compositions by Dmitry Malikov, the Lyube group (1988). A year later he was invited to record the album of the group "Little Prince".
For many years the musician has been collaborating with Ekaterina Boldasheva. In 2013, he presented Catherine's new songs to the public. A clip was subsequently filmed for one of the compositions. Another song (“I love you, bald one!”) Became an Internet hit, which was facilitated by the creation of an original animated film.
Gorbashov has a large number of thanks, diplomas and letters for charitable work. More than once he was among the organizers of events for orphans, disabled children and military personnel.
