Step 1
To obtain a passport, contact the passport office of the department of internal affairs at your place of residence. Take the application form and fill out the application for the issuance of a foreign passport. The form can be downloaded from the Internet, and it is permissible to enter data both by hand and using a computer.
Step 2
When filling out the questionnaire, indicate all places of work and study over the past 10 years. In this case, you need to write down the full names of enterprises and educational institutions. If there were breaks in work longer than one month, this should also be indicated. Although it can be difficult to remember the full name of the company where you worked 7-8 years ago, this must be done, since the time for consideration of your questionnaire depends on the completeness of the data. If you are writing by hand, your handwriting should be as legible as possible.
Step 3
Attach 4 photos to the questionnaires. The size can be found in a photo studio, saying that you need the photos for your passport.
Step 4
Pay at any branch of the savings bank the state fee in the amount of about 200 rubles and the passport form itself - about 100 rubles. The account number is usually placed on an information stand in the passport office, or they will tell you it at a savings bank.
Step 5
To obtain a passport, young men of draft age will need to bring a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office stating that at the moment they are not in military service. If for some reason you evade the draft, then you have a chance to receive a summons along with this certificate, so it is better to issue a passport before reaching the age of 18. As a last resort, you can try to get a foreign document through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, since it does not deal with the military registration and enlistment office.
Step 6
Some categories of citizens do not have the right to leave the country, namely: persons who have access to state secrets, those who have been convicted of crimes or are under investigation as a suspect, persons who evade the duties imposed by the court. All these people cannot get passports.
