Youth and college students are a great time to travel, during which you can not only have a good rest, but also improve your knowledge or even undergo an international internship. But traveling abroad is impossible without a passport.
Instructions
Step 1
Obtaining a passport for a student is not much different from obtaining a passport for an adult, except that the student's place of work is a higher educational institution, the personnel department of which must be visited when filling out the documents. First of all, you need to get an application for a passport. You can get it at the passport office or on the FMS website. Foreign passports are old (for five years) and new (for ten years, contains a microchip with information) sample. An old passport application can be filled in with black pen and block letters, but it is better to do this on a computer using the Adobe Reader program. Filling out documents for a passport of a new sample should only be in electronic form.
Step 2
In the paragraph "Work experience" indicate the years of school and the year of admission to the university. In the dean's office, take a certificate from the place of requirement that you are really studying at the university. This certificate must be certified by the personnel department of the university, having previously given it for signature to the rector or vice-rector for academic affairs.
Step 3
In addition to the application and certificate from the university, attach a receipt for payment of the state fee. It must be paid according to the type of passport (new or old) that you have chosen. Also, for an old-style passport, you must attach 4 photos 3, 5x4, 5 color or black and white. Pictures of a new document are taken directly at the passport office when submitting documents.
