Olga Sergeevna Rozhdestvenskaya was born in 1969 in the city of Saratov. Popularity came to the talented singer after performing an offscreen song to the Soviet film "About Little Red Riding Hood".
Biography of the famous singer
Olga was born into a family of a singer with a stunning voice of Zhanna Rozhdestvenskaya and popular musician Sergei Akimov. After the birth of her daughter, Olga's parents separated, and she remained to live with her mother. Olga Rozhdestvenskaya saw father only once in her youth and, since then, she has no idea where he is, and how his life developed.
At the end of 1975, Zhanna Rozhdestvenskaya was forced to send little Olya to her grandparents in Rtishchevo, where she spent several months. After some time, mother and daughter were reunited again.
The beginning of her career for little Olga was the recording of a song from the film "About Little Red Riding Hood". Surely everyone knows the funny song "If for a long, long, long …", which, from that moment, became the "calling card" of the young singer.
After her first debut, the girl was often invited to auditions. For several years, Olga has often performed songs for famous films and films. The whole country was talking about her. A TV show was even released about the young singer. At the age of 8, the girl for the first time independently goes on tour with Mikhail Boyarsky and Irina Ponarovskaya.
In 1978, together with Zhanna Rozhdestvenskaya, Olga took part in the recording of the opera The Star and Death of Joaquin Murietta. Later, the girl is invited to record the famous painting "Juno and Avos".
The girl got her first role in 1979. She played the main character in the children's musical film I Invent a Song. Later, she was not offered movie roles and her career was based only on vocal data.
The role was followed by sound recording in the film "The Adventures of Petrov and Vasechkin, ordinary and incredible." The soundtrack for the musical Pippi Longstocking was planned, but the director preferred a different performer.
This was the end of Olga's childhood career.
Personal life of Olga Rozhdestvenskaya
In the early 80s, Olga entered the Gnessin School. There she meets a novice musician Arkady Martynenko and marries him. In the same year, their daughter was born and Olga dropped out of school. Later, a second child appears in their family - a boy. The singer's family life has developed quite successfully. Now they live and work with Arkady for their own pleasure. At the moment, they are united by a joint project in which they rewrite old romances to new electronic music. The son of the famous Olga Rozhdestvenskaya, at the insistence of his parents, graduated from a music school in piano, however, he is not going to follow in the footsteps of his parents.
Singing career
After the birth of her first child, the singer participates in the musical project Moskow Grooves Institute, which was created by her husband and Boris Nazarov. The old romance "Chrysanthemums" brings them overwhelming success. According to Olga, the track was recorded in the shortest possible time and almost immediately handed over to the customer. Much to the surprise of the producer and the singer herself, friends soon brought a very popular album from abroad, on which the beautiful name Cosmos Sound Club was. One of the best songs on it was the very "Chrysanthemums" on which they spent so much energy. However, the song had nothing to do with its creators. Long negotiations and several lawsuits returned the song to its copyright holders. In the early 2000s, a video was shot for him, which was rotated on many popular music TV channels.
The success of the Chrysanthemum track forced Arkady and Olga to continue working in the same direction, exerting even more strength. The musicians begin to carefully select the material. Olga finds many old works that will later be processed.
In 2002, she again participated in recording together with Zhanna Rozhdestvenskaya. They are invited to voice the updated version of the opera "Juno and Avos".
In addition to dubbing films and films, Olga very often took part in scoring advertisements. Her first commercial was recorded in 1994. Few people know that it was she who voiced the advertisement of the first video about Lipton tea.
Already in 2009 Olga Rozhdestvenskaya began to collaborate with the leading composer Alexei Aigi. This tandem gives birth to the song for the movie "Stradivarius Pistol" and the dubbing of the main character in the TV series "Born by a Star".
