Instructions

Step 1

Take a test for knowledge of the language of the country where you are going to move for permanent residence. For emigration to the EEC countries and the United States, positive results of an interview in country studies are also required.

Step 2

Make a preliminary request to the embassy (consulate) of this country. In the request, indicate the reasons for your decision to leave Russia.

Step 3

If you receive a positive response from the embassy (consulate), start collecting all the necessary documents.

Step 4

Contact the tax office to obtain a declaration of income for the last 3-5 years (depending on the requirements of the country of departure).

Step 5

Contact your local passport and visa service (if your city has a representative office of the country where you intend to move) and submit an application form for an immigrant visa. Attach the following documents to the questionnaire (you can have certified copies of all documents, except for the attestation sheet with the test results by language): - Russian passport and foreign passport;

- marriage certificate (in the case of a registered relationship with a foreigner or provided that you also have consent from your spouse to emigrate to another country);

- an employment contract concluded with the employer of this country or his official representative in Russia;

- birth certificate and birth certificates of your parents (if you are leaving for permanent residence under the national program of another country, for example, Germany or Israel);

- attestation sheet with the results of the language proficiency test (original).

- other documents and certificates (for example, work books, diplomas and certificates of education, health certificates, etc.), correctly translated into the official language of the country of departure.

Step 6

Get police certificates certifying your reliability as a citizen of Russia. You must receive such certificates for all family members who are going to emigrate with you. If you have lived for a long time in one of the former republics of the Soviet Union, make a request to the authorities of the CIS and Baltic countries to get a certificate of your reliability.

Step 7

All collected documents, along with the application form, submit to the consulate. After making a positive decision, move to the country of your choice for permanent residence. Within 3-12 years (depending on the legislation of a particular country) you will receive citizenship.
