Before creating a public organization, you need to understand what it is. Because it is not enough to name the organization being created public in order for it to acquire this status in the legal sense. A public organization is a non-governmental association of citizens on a voluntary basis, united by common interests and goals.

Instructions

Step 1

The founders themselves can deal with the registration of a public organization, or you can use the services of professional lawyers. The rules for registering a public organization have a number of peculiarities. Registration is not required for its operation. The decision of the general meeting on its creation is enough, where the charter must be approved and the governing and control and auditing bodies must be formed. The disadvantage of this form is the limitation in the administrative and economic activities of the organization. To gain more opportunities, you need to obtain the status of a legal entity. This should be done only in cases where the organization really needs such a status. This way you can avoid unnecessary procedures.

Step 2

Individual founders must provide copies of passports; if the founders are public organizations (legal entities), they provide certificates of registration and tax registration; information letter on the assignment of Goskomstat codes; a certificate from the bank about the existence of an account.

Step 3

Do not forget to attach a statement on the state organization (form No. RO-1), which is addressed to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation for the constituent entity of the Russian Federation in which the organization is being created. The application indicates the name of the organization, indicating the organizational and legal form, the address of the organization, the purpose of the association, the number of founders. It is also necessary to provide information about the applicants (form No. RO-1.1) indicating the full name of the applicant, the position of the applicant in the organization, address of residence and contact phone number, as well as passport data. The last required document is information about the founders - individuals (form No. RO-5), where standard personal and passport data are indicated, indicating citizenship and postal address. The collected package of documents is sent to the territorial body of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, where you will be given a "Certificate of registration of a public association."
