So-called socialization occurs, that is, the assimilation of social experience, the acquisition of skills and qualities that allow you to fully and painlessly interact with other people. This is a process that begins with the birth of a person and continues throughout life. The basis of socialization is the activity and communication of an individual in various social groups (family, work collective, school, informal groups).

This process allows a person to immerse themselves in the cultural environment, which is expressed, first of all, through the development of the language, traditions and customs of a given society. Then he acquires various valuable knowledge, experience and programs of behavior, which he can already transfer on his own. Thus, there is a constant spread of culture through space and time.

Outside of society, people are just animals. There is a large amount of evidence for this fact. Children "Mowgli", who were forced to grow up in the wild, after returning to society, have not been able to take root. They could not even learn to pronounce the simplest words, not to mention the subsequent socialization.

The expression "a person is a social being" says, first of all, that a person always interacts with other people and cannot exist without them. Wherever he is, no matter what needs he feels, he needs the help of other people.
