Margarita Nazarova is a famous trainer, tamer of tigers, known to the audience from the movie "Striped Flight". She lived a difficult life and died in oblivion.
Childhood
Margarita Nazarova was born in 1926 in the city of Pushkin, Leningrad Region. Her father was a forester, and her mother worked as a teacher. In addition to Margarita, two more girls grew up in the family.
As a teenager, Margarita and her family moved to the Latvian city of Daugavpils, and there she was caught by the war. Father was called to the front, and Margarita was taken prisoner by the Germans. Margarita does not tell anything bad about life in Germany during the war. She says that she worked as a maid in a German house, the owners treated her well. However, then she was sent to work in a cabaret as a dancer, apparently after learning that as a child, Margarita studied ballet.
Tiger tamer
After the war, Margarita returned to Latvia, where she found her sisters alive, and went to work in the circus as a dancer. Later, Nazarova began to perform with acrobatic numbers and gradually began to introduce animals into her numbers. At first they were dogs and cats.
But Margarita was a brave girl, and she wanted to try herself in something new, connected with risk. She became the first woman to enter the tiger cage. As a trainer, she applied the latest methods of raising animals, based on the study of the character of each animal and an individual approach to each of them.
Raising tigers is something as simple as it seems to a viewer looking at a smiling Margarita next to a fluffy friend. Once a tiger attacked a trainer right during a performance, and after that the doctors forbade Margarita to go on stage. In addition, Margarita's beloved husband died from a tiger bite.
