The famous lunar race ended in victory for the United States - American astronaut Neil Armstrong descended to the lunar surface in July 1969, the Soviet Union had to accept defeat. The United States could begin a full-scale study and development of the Earth satellite, but for some reason the flights were stopped.

The victory in the lunar race was not easy for the United States - tens of billions of dollars were spent, three astronauts died in preparation for flights. And when, finally, the goal was achieved, and the flight technology was fully worked out, the program of flights to the Moon was suddenly curtailed. This was not only unexpected, but also economically impractical. At least one more flight could take place, for which everything was already prepared.

The fact that flights to the moon were so abruptly terminated gave rise to a lot of rumors and speculation. One of the most interesting versions is connected with the information that the Americans, having flown to the moon, found that it was already occupied. By whom? Beings other than the human race. To put it simply, aliens. At first, they watched with interest the attempts of earthlings to land on the moon, but when the activity of the Americans became too high, they were asked to leave the moon and never return to it.

If everything was so, then why did the US leaders agree to this so meekly? The answer is simple - the level of technological development of aliens was so much higher than that of the Earth that it was pointless to fight them. That is why the Americans hastily curtailed the lunar program and never returned to this topic. The Soviet cosmonauts also did not land on the Moon, although the technical capabilities of the created N-1 rocket made it possible to fly to the Moon. Yes, the USSR lost to the Americans in the battle for the moon, but even the second landing would still be very prestigious. However, the Soviet lunar program was also curtailed.

Of course, it is not easy to believe in the version that the Americans met aliens on the Moon. But no matter how fantastic it looks, there is a lot of evidence in its favor. These are photographs from the lunar surface, which show incomprehensible luminous balls, and strange negotiations between astronauts and NASA, intercepted by radio amateurs. Finally, astronomers have repeatedly recorded with telescopes the facts of movement of large objects above the lunar surface. Many of them emerge from lunar craters and disappear into them. There is so much evidence of this that talk about aliens who forbade earthlings to step on the lunar surface no longer seem so incredible.

The official versions of the termination of flights to the Moon are very simple. The United States said that the goal had been achieved, the Americans visited a natural satellite of the Earth several times and there was no point in continuing the program. The leadership of the USSR announced that flights to the Moon are fraught with great risk, so in the Soviet Union priority will be given to the exploration of the Moon by unmanned aerial vehicles.

It should be noted that in recent years a number of countries, including Russia, have announced their readiness to explore the moon. So the lunar epic, begun in the seventies of the last century, has every chance of being continued in the coming years.
