For moving to another country, everyone has their own reason. Someone wants to reach new heights in their careers, someone is not satisfied with the climate, or they just want changes, and for some it is a necessary measure. The reasons are different, but the principle of choosing a country is the same.
Citizenship. The very first thing you need to know is the possibility of obtaining a residence permit and citizenship. There are a number of countries whose citizens it is possible to become citizens only by birth, and not acquire. Also in some countries there are restrictions on the entry of persons from certain countries.
Climate. You also need to pay attention to the climatic conditions of a given country. After all, the climate affects not only a comfortable stay, but also, in many respects, the state of human health. It also leaves a significant imprint on weather conditions and creates a certain flora and fauna. It is necessary to make sure whether it will be safe to stay in a given country or whether it is subject to periodic effects of natural disasters.
Language. An important aspect in choosing a place of permanent residence is the national language. Since in this country, for a full-fledged life, it will be necessary to communicate with local residents, future colleagues, representatives of trade and services (sellers, doctors, teachers, etc.), then knowledge of the local language will be useful. There are, of course, relatively universal languages, for example, if you choose from the countries of the former Soviet Union, then Russian can act as such here, and for the countries of America and Europe it will become English.
Employment and education. Since the country is chosen not for recreation, but for living, it will not be superfluous to find out the conditions for the provision of educational services in it, as well as see how your specialty is paid for and whether the existing education will be taken into account. If you plan to move with a child, you should find information about the presence or absence of a Russian-language school in this country for him.
Living conditions. Of course, at first, you can stay in a hotel or rent a house, but real estate prices must also be considered at least in the perspective of a future purchase.
The level of medicine. Diseases can also overtake abroad, so it is worth considering the health care system, the conditions for the provision of medical services, their quality, cost and availability. It is better to learn about the epidemiological background.
Religion. It is rather difficult for representatives of different religions to coexist harmoniously side by side. It is not a matter of rejection of faith, but of the peculiarities of each of them. Each of the religions has its own traditions and customs, certain rituals and even a way of life, which for others may be inconvenient or incomprehensible.
Economic conditions. When planning a prosperous life in a new country, you need to pay attention to its economic situation. Are there any crises or financial problems in the country, because it will affect your life, one way or another. The stability of the economy will ensure the stability of life.
Safety. This is an important factor. A country that is constantly involved in military conflicts or is on the verge of a political coup is not suitable for a quiet life.
Rules and laws. Different countries have different laws and regulations. Make sure how much the legal aspect of residence suits you, whether everything in it is clear to you. “Ignorance of the law does not exempt one from responsibility,” therefore it is better to study all the prohibitions and restrictions in advance, so as not to unexpectedly make problems with the law in a new country.
