The artistic director of the St. Petersburg theater "Russian Entreprise" Rudolf Davydovich Furmanov is a native of Leningrad. He was born on October 22, 1938 in an ordinary Soviet family. The parents were living at that time in a legal marriage, but a month after the birth of the child they separated. And a year and a half later, his mother died of consumption. The boy remained in the care of his aunt. The war broke out and the times fell. Little Rudik survived and did not starve to death due to his small age. The kid was given one carrot, and he gnawed on it all day.
When the war was over, Furmanov went to the school nearest to his home. The boy studied well. I found a common language with classmates. When Rudolph was ten years old, he was invited to star in the film "First Grader". The teenager then showed off his acting skills in two more films. Rudolph from an early age communicated and moved in a circle of people engaged in creativity. When Furmanov was twenty years old, he actively performed on the stage, performing popular songs. Later famous artists acted as partners with him: Mikhail Kazakov, Evgeny Lebedev, Andrei Mironov. Tours in cities and towns of the great country have always been a great success. In the early 60s, Rudolf Davydovich completed a course at the theater department of the Leningrad Theater Institute.
At the peak of his career, Furmanov hosted the popular Theatrical Lounge program on television. Students and young actors of St. Petersburg educational institutions tried to get into the shooting. Today critics note a wide range of works by the famous master. Particularly noted is his merit in the creation of the theater "Russian Entreprise", which bears the name of Andrei Mironov.
