Why the media

If the media do not have legal rights and are unable to force the society of people to take any action, for example, to pay a tax, in connection with what they are called the "fourth estate"?

The concept of the word "power" includes the ability or ability to influence the behavior and actions of people, even in spite of their resistance and unwillingness. The media is closely related to this concept, as it is based on the dissemination of various kinds of information that can influence public opinion and the subconscious. Journalists try to do this by resorting to means of information transmission, such as the press (magazines, newspapers) and electronic communications (television, radio, Internet).

This influence can be so strong that a kind of competition arises between the legal and the "fourth" power. This can be seen from the fact that state authorities are formed as a result of elections, which are held mainly through a huge system of state employees, and the media can bring thousands of people out into the streets and achieve re-elections. This happens despite the fact that all three branches of the legitimate government bring the necessary and important information to the people through the media. A huge influence in this case is manifested in the fact that people sometimes trust journalists more than the authorities themselves.

This fact served as the basis for the media today to become for society as the "fourth estate".

The simplicity of power

This power also attracts by the fact that it does not oblige to listen or take someone's side, but is able to give convincing arguments and present evidence that can affect the future decisions of people, their attitude to politics and other aspects of life.

The society will be able to come to a common opinion or decision through communication with each other, discussing what they have heard in the news or by reading in the newspaper or on the Internet. Taking all this into account, the media is counting on providing this or that information under a certain "sauce". In conclusion, it should be noted that the concept of "fourth estate" is lyrical and reflects only the enormous influence that the media have on people around the world. What will the media be like in the future, seeing its rapid development in the means of transmitting information and the need for information of people? Scientists and analysts can only guess about this. It is quite possible that there will be an interesting coup in terms of a revolution for the media.
