Patriotism is a complex, multifaceted feeling, the main signs of which are love for one's Fatherland and one's people. Patriotism is not "absorbed with mother's milk", it arises as a result of upbringing. Therefore, both parents and teachers bear a great responsibility: after all, it depends on them whether a child grows up a patriot or indifferent to the fate and history of his country. How can you instill this feeling?
Instructions
Step 1
Russia is a truly unique country. The largest in territory, with many peoples inhabiting it, the most numerous among which is Russian. Natural and climatic conditions, customs and traditions in different parts of a huge country can vary significantly. Therefore, the education of patriotism must begin with instilling in the child love for his “small homeland,” that is, for the place where he was born and began to take his first steps. The kid should be dear to his house, and the yard where he plays with friends, and the street along which he went to kindergarten, and the school where he began to study.
Step 2
Of course, we must not forget that patriotism is inextricably linked with love for one's family, for the closest relatives. Therefore, mom, dad, grandfathers and grandmothers need to behave in such a way as to be a worthy example for the baby. After all, it is no secret to anyone that both good and bad children adopt from adults. Do your best to make your child proud of their family.
Step 3
When the baby grows up enough to be able to understand the meaning of such things, tell him about Russia, about its structure, state symbols. You can laugh as much as you like at the "excessive" patriotism of Americans, who hang their flags everywhere and sing a hymn every morning, but we must admit that these methods are very effective!
Step 4
Be sure to make sure that the child understands: his small homeland is only a part of the huge common house of which he is a citizen. And despite the fact that these particles are different, sometimes not similar to each other, all of them, taken together, are Russia.
Step 5
If there are people in the child's family who fought in the Great Patriotic War, he should definitely tell about it! Show the surviving letters from the front, military awards, explain that his ancestors risked their lives so that he could walk peacefully on this earth, study, and grow. This is very important for education in the spirit of patriotism.
Step 6
While instilling patriotism in a child in every possible way, it is important not to go to extremes! Remember the wise words of N. G. Chernyshevsky: "Not the patriot who shouts at all corners how much he loves the Motherland, but the one who, along with the merits of his Motherland, sees its shortcomings, and helps her get rid of them to the best of his strength and abilities."
