Biography
Tina Kandelaki is of Georgian origin: her hometown is Tbilisi. It was in him that the future TV presenter was born in 1975 in the family of an economist and a medical employee. The girl studied brilliantly at school, while she showed an interesting talent: Tina mastered speed reading, and in a minute she could accurately read 264 words aloud. However, after school, she decided to follow in her mother's footsteps and entered the medical institute as a cosmetologist.
In her student years, representatives of Georgian television drew attention to Tina Kandelaki. The girl was pretty and confidently behaved when communicating with people. And yet, poor knowledge of the Georgian language (since childhood, Tina spoke only Russian), as well as the lack of the necessary experience, did not allow her to immediately become a successful TV presenter. Contrary to the advice of those around her, Kandelaki did not quit her job on television and even entered the journalism department of VTGU.
Tina Kandelaki moved to Moscow and for a long time unsuccessfully tried to get a job in her desired specialty. As a result, she became a presenter on M-Radio and soon met Stanislav Sadalsky, who offered her to work on the Silver Rain radio. Gradually, Tina met the people she needed for herself, who helped her get a job on television. For some time she was a presenter on the Muz-TV and TV-6 channels, and in 2002 the STS TV channel invited her to head the Details program.
A year later, Tina Kandelaki became the host of another popular show on STS called "The Smartest". Here, finally, the talent of speed reading came in handy: she incredibly quickly read out the questions to which the children participating in the program had to give the correct answers. This trademark feature of Kandelaki has been parodied many times on various humorous shows.
Tina has been repeatedly recognized as the best and most stylish presenter on Russian television, and also took part in the filming of various projects. She has published two books of her own, Beauty Constructor and Great Children's Encyclopedia. Since 2009, Kandelaki has been a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, taking an active part in the political life of the country.
Personal life
Starting her career in Moscow, Tina Kandelaki met and began dating artist Andrei Kondrakhin. The couple lived together for two years and ended up getting married. They had a son, Leonty, and a daughter, Melania. For many years, the couple lived in perfect harmony, but in the end they decided to divorce. Rumor has it that the reason for the breakup was not only personal, but also financial differences.
Tina Kandelaki entered into a new marriage in 2015. The husband became TV presenter and businessman Vasily Brovko, who is 10 years younger than his wife. Their relationship is quite successful and does not interfere with each other's careers. Tina continues to appear on television and work in her positions.
