Notes "about health", "about repose" are given by the Orthodox in Christian churches, in some church shops. Along with a lit candle, they are considered a person's church appeal to the Higher powers, God, the Virgin Mary, holy saints. There are certain rules for the submission of such notes that have developed over the years.
Instructions
Step 1
On the note submitted to the church, a Christian eight-pointed cross should be depicted at the top of the sheet. Notes should be made in a neat, legible handwriting. It is possible to mention the names of people in church notes only if they were baptized in the Orthodox Church.
Step 2
Names in memorial notes for the departed or when inscribing the names of living people are written exclusively in the genitive case. For example: Ivan, Elena, Nikita and the like. Each memorial or health note can contain up to ten names.
Step 3
When you enter the names of people close to you or people you know whom you would like to mention, think about them, remember, mentally convey to them your sincere desire to remember the deceased or wish you long living.
Step 4
Mention children in notes as infants or adolescents, also in the genitive case. For example, you pray for health: baby Nicholas, baby Anastasia. The surname of the person, his patronymic, the degree of kinship in the notes does not need to be mentioned. But you can put the words "warrior", "sick", "prisoner" in front of the name in the notes on health, if required.
Step 5
If a memorial note is written, then the word "newly departed" is added to the names of the deceased, since their death has not passed forty days. When you commemorate a person who died in the service, war, add the word "warrior". Remembering the deceased on his birthday or on the date of his death, add a word to the name of the "ever-memorable".
Step 6
In addition to notes "about the repose", "about health", there are other types of references in Orthodox church rites. Mention in the note "sorokoust" is ordered for repose or for a living person during his serious illness, difficult life situations. This is the mention (remembrance) of a person's name, which will be performed by the church for forty days in a row.
Step 7
The requiem is ordered in the church when it is necessary to hold a service for a deceased person. In the note "requiem" you can write down the names of the recently deceased, unburied people and the names of those who passed away long ago. If you have ordered a memorial service in the church, you should be in the temple when the service is going on and pray with the priest while he pronounces the names from your note during the service.

With the help of the "prayer" note, the Orthodox pray for the message of blessings from above or thank God for the blessings rendered to them. When decorating the prayer service, the name of the saint is written at the top of the note, to whom the request or thanksgiving is ascended. Below are the names of people for whom prayers will be offered.
Step 9
Church notes are given to a minister in a church or church shop. The best time to submit them is before the start of the service (liturgy). You can submit a note in the evening so that the priest mentions the names from it after the morning prayer the next day.
