Gregory Lemarshal's childhood
Gregory Lemarchal was born on May 13, 1983 in a small town in France called La Tronche. When Gregory was still a toddler, he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. This serious genetic disease left an imprint on his entire future life. Despite the fact that Gregory was an active child, due to illness, he often had to limit physical activity, undergo medical procedures and take medications. Nevertheless, he managed to engage in such active sports as football and basketball, and at the age of 12 he even became the champion of France in such a difficult dance direction as acrobatic rock and roll.
Musical way
As a teenager, Gregory first discovered his musical ability. This happened when he was at karaoke with his parents. He had to sing since he lost the argument. Hearing the singing of a teenager, the people who were there were so amazed by the beauty of his voice that it made Gregory seriously think about the singer's professional career. It was from that very moment that Gregory Lemarchal began his musical path.
He began to participate in music competitions, while simultaneously practicing the technique of voice control. His concerts began to enjoy success and he even has fans. Then Gregory realizes that his mission is to give people joy.
Star Factory
In 2004, Gregory was successfully auditioned for the Star Academy program. He immediately captivated the audience with his talent, charming smile, positive energy and fighting character. Despite a serious illness, he tried to be on a par with all the participants in the show. For his sincerity and kindness he was nicknamed "The Little Prince". When Gregory Lemarchal received more than 80% of the vote by the results of the TV viewer vote, he could hardly hold back his tears.
In 2005, Gregory released his first album, I Become Me, which almost instantly went platinum. Next year, the singer receives the prestigious French NRJ Music Awards in the category "Discovery of the Year". His concerts are held at the most famous venues in France, Switzerland, Belgium. But, despite the phenomenal musical success, hard touring work undermined Gregory's health, and every day he got worse and worse.
In 2007, Lemarchal gives a concert with the singer Helene Segara, after which he announces his decision to stop performing due to illness.
Personal life
In the life of Gregory Lemarchal there was a girl who became the love of his life. Karin Ferry, model, TV presenter and just a charming girl, whom Gregory met quite by accident. They were brought together by a common make-up artist. Karin became interested in a charming and very modest young man and decided to call him herself. After six months of dating, Gregory admitted that he had serious feelings for the girl. Thus began the happiest period in Gregory's life.
End of life
In 2007, due to serious deterioration in health, Gregory began to prepare for a major lung transplant operation. On April 29, before the operation, Gregory is placed in an artificial coma, but his body cannot cope with such a load, and the young man dies. This is a huge shock for the whole of France. On May 3, 2007, thousands of fans gathered for Gregory's funeral. After the film about the life of Gregory Lemarchal was shown on television, 6 million euros were donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
