Each popular artist has its own path to success. Critics record many common points, but there are also characteristic features of the process. Sevak Khanagyan started singing at an early age.
Starting conditions
For many well-known reasons, people born in highlands have a good voice and ear for music. Sevak Khanagyan was born on July 28, 1987. The family lived in a small village called Metsavan. Parents were engaged in agriculture. In his free time from work, my father loved to hum Armenian folk songs. At an early age, Sevak asked his father to teach him how to play the duduk. The child, as is customary, was prepared for an independent life and did not object to music lessons.
When the age approached, he was enrolled in a music school. Here he received basic knowledge of musical literacy. When Sevak was fourteen years old, the family moved to Moscow. After the tenth grade, he decided to get a specialized education at the Kursk College of Music. After receiving his diploma, Khanagyan returned to his family and entered the famous State Academy, the vocal and jazz department.
Professional activity
After completing his studies at the academy, Khanagyan began to consistently engage in building a professional career. By the first act, he "put together" his own vocal and instrumental group. Young performers performed in nightclubs and restaurants, at corporate parties and weddings. Sevak himself wrote songs and arrangements in both Russian and Armenian. The compositions were regularly played in music programs on the radio and on TV.
At the beginning of 2015, the young performer took part in the television project "Main Stage". They managed to break through only until the quarter finals. Khanagyan was not particularly upset, since he was mainly aiming at a creative career. But I learned how the backstage of such events lives. In 2016, the performer took part in the Ukrainian competition "X Factor" and won first place. After a successful performance, as they say, in hot pursuit, Sevak implemented several of his projects in Armenia, Russia and Ukraine.
