The birth of a duet
In all the plots, Mikhail appears in the image of a village shirt-guy in rubber boots "on bare feet" and a quilted jacket. He is paired with a charming brunette. To a large extent, the popularity of the duet was ensured by Yulina's ability to move gracefully in the dance.
Both met at the Perm Trade and Technology College, where they studied, in 2004. Both took part in amateur performances and in productions of the local theater studio "Kaleidoscope".
On New Year's Eve they presented to the public the number "Last year's snow was falling." The performance was so successful that the idea of creating a stage tandem appeared. We decided to play on the contrast of Julia's donkey and very skinny Misha.
There were no problems with the choice of aliases. Mikhail took the school nickname, and Julia used the name of the funny cartoon heroine.
Successes and new plans
The career of an experimental and humorous duo began in one of the city restaurants. Popularity was brought by the parody of Kaiza's video in 2005. Almost no one outside of their hometown, unknown artists posted the video on the Internet. The video quickly turned into a hit, and Kuzmich and Bonya became celebrities.
The audience was captivated by the lack of pretense. The clothes, the landscapes, the village, and even the dog were real. The conquered spectators were convinced that the couple lived in the village, being husband and wife in real life. In fact, the artists maintain friendly relations. Mikhail is happily married, and Julia, by her confession, is in an active search.
In the video, the grandfather of the Kuzmins first appeared in the role of an accordion player. In the future, he regularly appears in the clips of his grandson.
The guys have created a unique image, unlike anything else. He went to the people from the very first step on the path of creativity. They have 12 years of experience on their account. For the most part, artists perform at various events. They are actors, directors, screenwriters, speakers, and dancers. And they are both great hosts. Parody clips ensured cooperation with domestic and foreign pop stars.
New Horizons
In 2017, the duo temporarily ceased to exist. The reason for the break was the participation of Julia in the TV show "Slim". The star was fascinated by the idea of checking herself and the opportunity to lose weight in very harsh conditions. She lost weight with the help of the strictest diets and exhausted herself with training as part of the program.
The users supported the girl's decision, but opinions were divided. Some believed that Starikova's charm would only benefit after getting rid of the weight ballast, while others assured that the loss of excess weight would destroy all her flavor.
