From metallurgists to actors? Is that possible? Ask Andrei Viktorovich Rudensky, a theater and film actor who has gone exactly this way. He did not regret it for a minute, because on the screen he lived many lives of various people, created many vivid images and continues to do this with great pleasure.

Andrey was born in 1959 in Sverdlovsk, now Yekaterinburg. His dad was a military man, his mother worked in trade, and their son grew up as an ordinary tomboy: moderately hooligan, moderately obedient. The idea of an acting profession originated in him in childhood, but only mentally he could try on different images.

At the insistence of his parents, the young man entered a metallurgical technical school and became a master of rolling production. There was a drama club in the technical school, and Rudensky spent all his free time at rehearsals.

Then, becoming a student of the Faculty of Architecture, he disappeared in the theater studio of the Palace of Youth, playing rather complex roles in productions based on Dostoevsky, Sartre, Bradbury. Even then, Andrei realized that he could not live without theater.

The case helped him: when the Maly Theater was on tour in Sverdlovsk, Rudensky approached Viktor Korshunov, a teacher at the Schepkinsky School. The master was amazed in an amicable way by the talent of the young artist and invited him to study at Sliver, immediately to the second year.

After school, Rudensky was not taken to any theater, diagnosing him: "Too handsome, fit only for the podium or advertising." The actor, without thinking twice, did just that: he got a job with Vyacheslav Zaitsev and began to march down the catwalk. This job gave him the skill of "communicating" with the camera and removed the fear of it.

Film career

Suddenly, director Viktor Titov invited Rudensky to play the main role in the film "The Life of Klim Samgin". Many dissuaded Titov from the risk of failing a 14-episode project due to an inexperienced actor, but he resisted. As a result, Rudensky got a very interesting role: to play a man for 23 years of his life, from adolescence to adulthood. Moreover, the person is ambiguous, complex and not entirely clear.

The picture was a huge success, the actor's Samghin turned out great, the team of actors was stellar. It seemed - here it is, glory! However, there were no new roles, and only the beginning of the 90s pleased: the role of Humphrey Van Weyden in the film "Sea Wolf" and Stavrogin in "Demons".

After that, there is another break in the actor's biography, if we talk about movie roles. During this period, he plays on the stage of the New Drama Theater, mainly in the images of romantic heroes.

Fate loves to present Rudensky with surprises according to the principle of "now thick, now empty", so in 1997 she brought the director Krzysztof Zanussi to him - he offered a role in the film "Brother of Our God". This international project featured actors from 7 countries.

Since then, Andrei Viktorovich has been filming almost non-stop: serials, dramas, detectives, melodramas. The list is very long, and it will still be continued, because the actor is in full bloom.

His last work is the series "Sorge", where he played the German ambassador Eigen Ott.

Personal life

Surprisingly, of all three wives of Andrei Rudensky, none was an actress. Perhaps that is why all marriages turned out to be unsuccessful - after all, the spouses are most strongly connected by common interests. Or children, which the actor also does not have yet.

It is only known that all three partings were peaceful, and the couple parted as friends. And Rudensky is in search of the perfect second half.

And he also tries himself in design - apparently, nostalgia for the architectural art, which he studied in his student years, manifested itself.
